I previously purchased a DigitNow record player so I could get my records transferred to digital. It stopped working the second time I used it. I returned it and wrote a bad review. I still wanted to do the recording to digital so I thought I would try this brand. So far I am very happy with it. I recorded about 25 songs the first couple of days I had it and then didn't use it for several weeks. I got back to the recording yesterday and did 26 more songs. It worked fine. The only tricky part is getting the recording to start at the same time as the song. When you hit the "record" button, the machine goes through a process that takes several seconds before it starts recording -- and it's not always the same amount of time. So, sometimes you get the end of the previous song or you miss a couple of seconds of the song you are recording. This is fairly minor. Since I bought this to record my old records, I didn't intend to spend a lot of time listening to records. Don't buy this if that is your intent. The sound quality is very bad -- think back to how bad the small turntables with the built-in speakers were in the '60s and '70s. But, I am very happy with it doing what I wanted done. If that changes, I will update the review.

Overall a great purchase; good sound and well made, however... the printing on the various knobs and buttons are very hard to read and the remote does not have volume control otherwise a fine sound system.

I was really excited to get this because I've wanted an easy way to play my largish collection of vintage 33s. Everything else on the unit worked well--no complaints. I was disappointed when I played the first record because over the sound of the music, there was a constant-frequency hum. I thought it might be the record, so I tried different ones and got the same hum. When I contacted the customer service address on the box, they suggested changing the stylus and using the extra one that was supposed to have come with it. There was no extra stylus, so I asked them to send me two of them. Customer service then said they were sorry but there were no styluses available at their warehouse. I gave them a deadline to send me two styluses. They offered a $20 refund as compensation if I kept the unit. I kept reminding them that the primary reason I wanted it was to play vinyl. Then they offered a 25% discount and no replacement styluses. I returned the item to Amazon (very easily) and got a refund. I will say that the customer service person was always cordial, but ultimately I think they could have solved the problem another way. Addendum: The customer service representative emailed me after I returned the unit and mentioned they had read my review and she had "applied to her manager for an extra $20 refund as compensation." I accepted the offer. Once it had been credited to my cc, she asked if I could cancel or update my review on Amazon as it had "a large effect on our products and store performance on Amazon." When I didn't do that immediately, they sent another email with the message that they "thought the problem was solved" and again asked me to cancel or update my review. I don't think a 3-star rating is terrible. My review reflected that my dissatisfaction stemmed from the fact that the primary reason I bought this was for the turntable so I could play records. I still credit them with an otherwise satisfactory product. I believe that reviews should be honest; otherwise the review process is a sham.

This Turntable is one of the Best inventions. It Arrived on time and packages well. All 10 Functions work on this system & the sound is beautiful without added Speakers. If this turntable was a direct drive instead of belt drive- I would buy two of them:) I Would recommend this Product & Repurchase it again.
