  • Very sturdy tarp so far!!
I've been using tarps to cover a small utility trailer I keep by the side of the house. I've been buying them at Lowes and if I get 2 months out of one of those junky tarps I'm doing good. Usually they start tearing after about a month and in 2 to 3 months they are in shreds. I read reviews and these sounded good so I thought I'd give one a try. I've had this tarp on my trailer for 2 months and it still looks brand new. So far so good! I'll report back in a couple more months. EDIT- tarp is now 5 months old, it's got a small hole in it at a wear spot where the trailer ramp pokes into it but other than that it is still looking good and holding up nicely! ... show more

  • Best tarp Harpster makes and a very good value at the price
I have found nothing better. This Harpster "super heavy duty" tarp is available only in brown but it is the thickest one they make at 16 mil and 8 oz. per square yard. If longevity and durability are important then this tarp is a good choice and at the price it is an excellent value. This is nearly the weight and stiffness of a heavy duty cotton tarp so it will last a long time but it is also more difficult to manage than the thinner tarps. As a near permanent cover it is perfect but for something that will be used for a short period of time I would recommend on of the Harpster's thinner tarps that are "heavy duty" and not "super heavy duty". ... show more

  • Excellent tarps
These are the best tarps I have found. 'Very thick, water-proof and durable. We use to cover a trailer that sits in the sun and all kinds of weather, as well for patio furniture over the winter. Nothing has lasted as well and remained water-proof. I have been using other products and suppliers for years before finding this company. The variety of colors is great, too. We use the dark brown for the trailer and it is hardly visible on the hillside from a distance. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Heavy Duty? Sure enough!! Surprisingly pleased!!!
Having been churned to bits by Hurricane Michael, we were looking for heavy duty tarps to replace the ones blown away by the storm. This tarp was an excellent value and it is REALLY heavy duty. So pleased we got this tarp and hope to order more in the future as the needs arise. Surprisingly pleased!! ... show more

  • High Quality!
We have put these to the test as animal shelters. We strung them up from trees, and the grommets held. Now we have them over rounded cattle panels. They are durable, and hold up to rubbing/chewing from pigs, goats, and horses. Color is nice too.

  • Short of 16'
Great, thick, sturdy tarp my only complaint is that it's not a true 16' length. We use it to cover a chicken run that is 16' and it was about 5 inches shy. The company that made the original tarp we had for the last 3 years didn't offer that size anymore so this will have to do I gues...

  • For the price I need stronger grommets & edge seams
First snowstorm and it ripped three grommets out. I have bought cheaper tarps at the surplus "Job Lot" store that took bigger snow piles than this one did. I have clothesline hooks along the roofline of my small one car detached garage, and use the tarp to make a lean-to shelter for my birds. Usually a tarp will last a winter, but I blew out on edge with the first snowstorm, so am not too confident about finishing the snow season. The tarp itself seems great, much thicker and with a durable feel, but the instant you stretch it you can see the grommets are flimsy (they bend easily) and the edge seams lack really good reinforcement like some less expensive tarps provide. If they were to double the edges over and spend a little on good steel grommets then these would be the best, but until they do I will NOT call them HEAVY DUTY. ... show more

  • A very thick, heavy duty, impressively strong tarp!
Short and simple: - This is a very thick, heavy duty, impressively strong tarp. - It's the best tarp I've ever owned EXCEPT for my real canvas tarp. (expensive but wonderful) NOTE: because I bought 2 different sizes of this same tarp, both reviews are identical
