  • This is a great tarp
I was looking for a tarp which is way more sturdy than the typical tarps seen in the big box stores, and in the discount tool stores. This tarp is definitely that!! I was very impressed by the density and weight of the material, and the finish looked very good. The tarp definitely appears to be well made and sturdy, and therefore durable. I would say the waterproofing is not even in question, its very thick and would defintely be waterproof. I actually never used mine and returned it because I need something lighter in weight for backpacking. For car camping, or for home use, this thing would be amazing. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Excellent, Good Tarp
I bought one of these seven years ago and used it to cover firewood outdoors. The original tarp was getting some sun everyday. It was showing age, but got hole torn into it when some critters, likely a coyote chasing something decide to scamper across it. I found suspicious tracks on the ground and easily guessed what had occurred. So, it was time to replace the old tarp. ... show more

  • Short of 16'
Great, thick, sturdy tarp my only complaint is that it's not a true 16' length. We use it to cover a chicken run that is 16' and it was about 5 inches shy. The company that made the original tarp we had for the last 3 years didn't offer that size anymore so this will have to do I gues...

  • very pleased with the weight and performance through a hot summer
We use this for a 10x14' shaded seating area near the garden. Bought this to replace the original carport cover, after reading many reviews and considering what gauge and color might be best for our application. It's a good enough fit and the heavy material and dark color have worked exceptionally well as sun cover in blazing central Texas heat. We've had high winds and 3" of rain in 2 hours, it has held up perfectly without sagging or fraying. The original white tarp did not feel as cool in the direct sun, and it sagged badly and allowed rain to collect. We will see how it handles hail! The original tarp survived almost two years in these conditions, so I expect this one to last a little longer than that, making it a great value for the price. ... show more

  • Very sturdy tarp so far!!
I've been using tarps to cover a small utility trailer I keep by the side of the house. I've been buying them at Lowes and if I get 2 months out of one of those junky tarps I'm doing good. Usually they start tearing after about a month and in 2 to 3 months they are in shreds. I read reviews and these sounded good so I thought I'd give one a try. I've had this tarp on my trailer for 2 months and it still looks brand new. So far so good! I'll report back in a couple more months. EDIT- tarp is now 5 months old, it's got a small hole in it at a wear spot where the trailer ramp pokes into it but other than that it is still looking good and holding up nicely! ... show more

  • Durable and water resistant
Great tarp. Water resistant, durable and sturdy. Was a little awkward to work with when brand new, but it has softened over time. Not as stiff as when it was new, but still works great. Would definitely buy this again.

  • Long lasting
Expensive but you definitely get 2-3 Years of use out of the Heavy Duty Tarps.

  • Tarps, Duct Tape, Superglue and Bungie Cords
Until you have a tarp, you won't know how you did without one. It turns out that a tarp is one of the 4 sturdy horsemen of the homeowner's gig, and it covers a myriad of sins, junk, and unsightly heaps of stuff you haven't decided what to do with. The grommets are very secure, and work well with rope, hooks or the aforementioned bungie cords. It's not a wafty little thing either, but a sturdy plastic covering, that folds back down to a manageable size when not in use, which, as mentioned, is rare. ... show more
