  • Sloppy Seam
Tarp is heavy duty, but they patched two pieces together to make one tarp, and the seam was uneven and sloppy. Either there were no people involved in the manufacture or inspection, or whoever did do the work or inspection had absolutely no pride in their work. The pictures are not optical illusions; the seams really are that crooked. ... show more

  • Poor Quality Manufacturing… I normally don’t submit many reviews
Poor Quality Manufacturing… I normally don’t submit many reviews, but I felt I should this time, based on my tarp purchase and experience. Honestly I can only give this tarp 2 stars – should have been 1 star, but I gave 2 stars for the following reasons. The tarp arrived in good condition, and you can tell the material and sub-components are better than the cheap tarps you can find at the big box stores. The bad - unfortunately the manufacturing process is ‘not’ up to standard. After spending a considerable amount of time installing the tarp over a long dog kennel (10’ x 20’), as well as doing some custom anchoring to ensure it would not rip-away in a major wind event, it was only then that I noticed a long perforated seam down the entire tarp. This flaw was directly alongside the heat welded tape seam - about 2’ away from the tape weld line. So doubt it was a failure do to the welding process, but I really don’t know… The perforated line allowed water to drip through, which totally defeated the purpose of buying a heavy-duty water proof tarp. Rather than go through the process to remove and return the tarp (remember this was not just a drape and tie down installation), I decided to run a long bead of silicone directly over the perforated line, and I can only hope it holds up, otherwise I just threw $50 bucks away and a half of day installing. I would recommend inspecting the tarp prior to installing, so you don’t find yourself in my same ‘dumb’ position. Good luck. ... show more

  • Mislabeled
Tarp is great quality, but what was labeled a 10'x20' tarp turned out to be 15x15. I wish I had unfolded it before throwing my old tarp away. Wound up getting the right size (thanks Amazon), but these don't last long. They feel sturdy, but don't have good UV resistance. After 1 year in the sun the outer layer is flaking and the strands are brittle and fraying. ... show more

  • Heavy tarp
We keep our boat in a storage yard, and not under cover. Sun, rain and wind caused the tarp we had over it to tear. Therefore we needed a new one. This one was the heaviest thickness we could find in the size we needed. Other reviewers noted that there is a seam down the middle like two 10' tarps were sewn together, this is a true fact, however, it did not bother us. The tarp was true to size and fit well over our boat. The grommets looked sturdy for tie downs. It's just been a little over a week, so we cannot tell how it will hold up in heavy rains, etc., so far we are pleased. ... show more

  • Just don't last - no warranty
This is the second one of these I've purchased. The first one made it just under 2 years and started falling apart. The company said (I called them) you get 1-2 years out of it and they don't warrant it for longevity. So, I sucked it up and bought another one. This one made it just about a year before it started to get weak and tore. It's covering a boat and I'm careful to pad it where it meets edges, and I remove it before bad storms. These things are supposed to be heavy duty, but they just aren't. ... show more

  • Very high-quality tarp.
This is a very high quality tarp, very heavy-duty and with strong seams and grommets. However, it is heavy and difficult to handle. For certain purposes it works very well, but don't expect to fold and unfold it over and over. It works best for long-term use.

  • Love love love it
Love love love it!!! Tarps on my pop up camper never last long and usually have to use 2 bc it's the largest pop up available. It is so strong! Here in the south we have hard sun and big storms. Withheld everything for almost a year now. It might last a couple years!!! Which is about 4x what the normal HD tarp lasts. ... show more

  • Does the job well.
This is the only tarp we use on our old travel trailer that tends to leak near the roof vents. It stays on year round and lasts about 2 years- the trailer is kept outside year round. This is a thick tarp and an attractive brown.
