This was an amazing incubator for goose eggs. I had over a 90% hatch rate, which was quite an accomplishment for my first season hatching goslings. I do wish it wouldn’t beep every single time it dropped below 40% humidity though, since I would like to dry hatch but can’t with this one. Otherwise, it’s very quiet and definitely worth the purchase! I was able to comfortably hatch six goslings at a time in here and they were a little crammed but the size held them okay. I would place a non slip surface under the eggs at lockdown though so it isn’t too slippery. Great for beginners, as it was easy to figure out.

Bought this incubator - have been using it for 4 days now, it WILL NOT hold humidity over 40%. Super disappointing as I spent quite a bit on these eggs, more than the incubator 😟 Editing my post - I didn’t have the lid on right 😅🙃 it works fine

The incubator is not working correctly. The eggs spoiled because the temperature won't rise; the alarm keeps sounding constantly to indicate that the temperature is too low, and even though I try to adjust it, it simply won't go up.

Second attempt out if 8 only 3 actually hatched. The first batch I tried out of 12 only 4 hatched. They develop perfectly but it seems like the unit can't hold the right temp/humidity for actually hatching. It's finicky and will yo-yo the humidity like no other. You need to have a separate temp gage in the rotator with the eggs so you know what's actually going on. The digital one seems to be off randomly and on point from time to time. Before you ask I know it's not the eggs, I've hatched 40+ from two different Maticoopx units with no failures. If you are looking for a easy, quick incubator, it works, but know your hatch rate will very. I'll update if I perfect a batch to all hatch.

Well I waited until the 20th day of incubation to leave a review. The first time I have ever incubated eggs so I went with the cheapest option. Works great for the price. It held the temperature perfectly. In my home in Sc I had to keep an eye on the humidity levels, they kept tunneling a little low. But simply just give your water bottle a squeeze and all done. I was not impressed by the egg candler however, i did a better job with my phone and ordered a separate egg candler for less than $20 which is way better. I only incubated 4 eggs for fear of failure but so far I have 3 healthy chicks and number 4 has not hatched tet, but technically I have up to 3 more days and there is no guarantee that all eggs are fertile. The fallback is if you arr hatching more than 12 eggs, buy something bigger, or if you want to do different batches that come close to the same time get yourself a second incubator. But for hatching a few at home this is the perfect inexpensive set up. I would definitely buy again.

Easy set up. Hatches chicks. We leave it at the default setting that it comes with and have had no issues hatching bantee chicks. Things to know: It goes through water pretty quick, keep them full. Every time you open the lid you need to make sure that it realigns when you put it back on so that the carousel will turn. We always make the carousel turns by pushing the down button and holding it just to make sure that it will be able to roll the eggs accurately. After a chick hatches, then it becomes a little roly poly in there and we were afraid of chicks getting hurt while they were drying out. So we put them in a little plastic dish for just a little while until dry then remove them. Again you have to make sure that the egg Carousel continues to roll so it will accurately roll the eggs. This little guy in the video, we called him Sushi like a sushi go around. He thought it was super fun riding in his little boat.
