This coffeemaker out-performs all brand names of higher-end units--most especially Keurig. We have used this coffeemaker every day for 15 months (we are avid coffeelovers!), and it is uncomplicated, reliable, and makes very good coffee, both individual cups and pots. Looks nice, works well. However..... It advertises a removable water filter with measurements on it in the water reservoir for the K cup. This doesn't have that, it has a plastic measurement piece that is screwed into the reservoir, but that's not a deal breaker for me. Love that it does not take forever to brew a 12 cup pot, and that it shuts off after 2 hours rather than burning the coffee in the carafe/pot. I DON'T like that you can't just turn it back on to continue keeping the coffee that is in the pot hot longer. Simply turning the maker back on does not turn the hot plate back on. Also, I don't like that just touching the hour or minute button, even accidently, changes the time on the clock. So, if you're not paying attention, you could change the time without even knowing it! And lastly, the measurement on the pot does NOT match the measurement in the water reservoir. If you put water in the pot up to the 12 cup line, it is only up to the 11 cup line in the reservoir. And if you add water to the reservoir to take it to the 12 cup line, it overfills the pot up to the top of the pot so it is spilling out before you can remove the pot from the hot plate. UPDATE: I purchased this on April 27th 2026, it is now July 11th 2026, the brew later light quit working about a month or so ago, and we noticed last night that the hot plate has developed crack in it, still seems to keep the pot hot for the 2 hours though. ... show more

This company has engineered the heck out of this coffee maker! They thought of everything. The size, finish and elegant digital display are the first of many impressive features. It includes a fine mesh filter for the carafe side and on the K cup side they included a fine mesh filter as well. So the single serve side will brew a K cup or your own bulk purchased coffee grounds. The plate that the cup sits on is stainless not plastic and they curved the back side as well. It just shows how much thought was put into the design. I could go on but let me say that I have purchased two Keurig K Duos in two years at $200 each. I said never again but when the second one went I ordered this one and then went to Walmart and ended up getting a K Duo because I had to have one. Now that I have received this beauty I packed up the Keurig. It’s now in the garage. I’ll keep it in case this one goes on the fritz. I’m tempted to get another one of these just to have on hand because I just like it so much! For everyone but especially those who want a beautiful coffee maker for their cute coffee bar; don’t hesitate to grab this or at the least put it on your special occasion wish list. Lastly, I haven’t brewed a cup yet but given the attention to detail that they put into this machine, I have no worries. I’ll have a delicious cup of coffee in the morning. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this coffee maker. It functions differently from the Keurig but I’m so over them. Hope this honest review will help you make a decision. I like the functionality and the space it takes up is a perfect fit, however the lack of a water reservoir for the K-cup dispenser makes it a little less then optimal for repeated individual cups without having water close by. First world issue!.

    • It works perfectly, but the two water wells is a little frustrating for me.

Great machine, my only real drawback is the two separate water wells. I'm short, so it was hard for me to see the pod well water level for each pod brew, and it needs to be filled each time. I've added too much water more than once and overflowed the mug. First world problems, I know. I just prefer being able to see water level in a clear well. ... show more

I have only owned my coffee pot for a week. I like it. What I am interested in is how long is it going to last. I go through 3 to 4 of the cheap coffee pots and year. I am hoping this one last. We will see. Ok now i have only owned this coffee pot for less then a month the lights have already quit working. The buttons still work but for how long.
