Nice brewer, but.....

Looks nice, works well. However..... It advertises a removable water filter with measurements on it in the water reservoir for the K cup. This doesn't have that, it has a plastic measurement piece that is screwed into the reservoir, but that's not a deal breaker for me. Love that it does not take forever to brew a 12 cup pot, and that it shuts off after 2 hours rather than burning the coffee in the carafe/pot. I DON'T like that you can't just turn it back on to continue keeping the coffee that is in the pot hot longer. Simply turning the maker back on does not turn the hot plate back on. Also, I don't like that just touching the hour or minute button, even accidently, changes the time on the clock. So, if you're not paying attention, you could change the time without even knowing it! And lastly, the measurement on the pot does NOT match the measurement in the water reservoir. If you put water in the pot up to the 12 cup line, it is only up to the 11 cup line in the reservoir. And if you add water to the reservoir to take it to the 12 cup line, it overfills the pot up to the top of the pot so it is spilling out before you can remove the pot from the hot plate. UPDATE: I purchased this on April 27th 2026, it is now July 11th 2026, the brew later light quit working about a month or so ago, and we noticed last night that the hot plate has developed crack in it, still seems to keep the pot hot for the 2 hours though.

We had multiple Hamilton dual brews. Lasted about a year at best. Am now trying Pantry Made Duel brew. So far it has made good coffee. Keeping in mind I am not a coffee connoisseur. But it does have dual features and looks good. Also is easy to use. I will be back if doesn’t last long and I have other issues. I did like the price for what I expected it to do.

We bought this Pantrymade dual coffee maker in May of this year, and it only lasted 4 months. The issues began when the large pot side would only produce half a pot, although there was a full carafe worth of water in the resevoir. I had to turn it off to cool down before making the rest of the pot. Two weeks after those issues began, the single cup brewer would only brew about 1/4 of my cup, then turn off. I stood at that coffee maker long enough to do 7 (SEVEN!!) cycles of off/on before I gave up. What a waste of time and money! I'll go back to my Keurig that has lasted me 15 years, thanks. I only switched to this maker because I broke the carafe on my large pot. Definitely PASS on this one.

This coffeemaker out-performs all brand names of higher-end units--most especially Keurig. We have used this coffeemaker every day for 15 months (we are avid coffeelovers!), and it is uncomplicated, reliable, and makes very good coffee, both individual cups and pots. Looks great on my counter, brews quickly, pours cleanly, and is easy to clean. My final $300+ Keurig lasted just 7 months with more-than-routine maintenance. So glad I tried this coffeemaker!!!! I'm a loyal fan!!

Last longer then a year

I have only owned my coffee pot for a week. I like it. What I am interested in is how long is it going to last. I go through 3 to 4 of the cheap coffee pots and year. I am hoping this one last. We will see. Ok now i have only owned this coffee pot for less then a month the lights have already quit working. The buttons still work but for how long. The button for brew later and the brew now do not work.

Nice looking coffee maker but it has issues

Have been using since Oct 25 for brewing and K-cup. Nice looking machine. Brews coffee well with carafe or pod. Numerous issues make it slightly below average. No standing water tank was a known, so no issue there. But the carafe water measurement doesn't match the tank measurement. Hard to determine amount of water for k-cup and spillage always an issue due to pouring. Controls are not intuitive, but manageable after reading manual and use. Due to size, must turn it sideways to fill brew tank. K-cup pour into coffee cup splashes coffee on counter. Taller Contigo travel mug doesn't fit for K-cup. Biggest issue - no matter how much/little coffee put in filter for brew, coffee grounds end up in water tank, on water dispenser, and top of filter area. Design of water dispenser seems to be issue as grounds come out of the filter (reusable or paper, tried both) no matter how much coffee is used. I've decided to try a different dual coffee maker brand because of the annoyance.
