After reviewing several 36V chargers and comparing charge rates and other options such as user interfaces , trickle charge feature and cord length , this is the best bang for your buck. Simple in operation with 2 LED's indicating charging status. Quiet fan cooling while charging at high rate and shuts off when trickle charge starts. Manufacturer contacted me via email after the sale and inquired if I was happy with the purchase and reviewed simple operating instructions for the product . Other reviews indicate a problem with the charger not starting after being connected to the cart. The operating instructions clearly state after a full charge cycle is complete that the charger needs to be reset by unplugging the AC power supply for a short period of time, 10 seconds. I only have one cart so this is not an issue for me as I simply remove the plug from the back of the charger when done until next week. If your charging a fleet of carts you will have to reset between charges by unplugging and resetting

I have a 91 EZGO 6 passenger 36 volt cart. I replaced the batteries and the the charger needed an upgrade too. I got this charger and it works flawlessly.

I've been using this for 4 months now. The price was good compared to other units. It charges well, isn't too loud and goes into trickle mode after charging.

This charger worked great for the first few months and then it would not stop on its own and stayed on as it was charging but it could not get the batteries fully charged. Mine would keep the batteries at 93-94% and the fan never shut off. I attempted to reach the seller but they send me one email that they would send me a new charger and that was the last time I heard from them. 4 week later and I have not heard anything and I don’t have a replacement charger. Be careful with this charger. It may burn your house down since it doesn’t turn off and it does not fully charge the batteries like the description says. I followed the instructions as written and no luck solving the problem.

Very pleased with this charger. It is small and easy to carry, and it charges my TXT fully in 5 to 6 hours. My last charger would sometimes become so hot when running that I had to be careful where to place it so as not to damage whatever it was resting on, but that is not the case with this one. The fan is not as loud as some other chargers, and it shuts down to trickle mode when the batteries are fully charged.
