Great Upgrade for your RAM, Android Auto is a game changer.

I ordered this Android head Unit to upgrade my 2020 RAM 1500 dash unit. Android Auto is just phenomenal, integrates everything you need from a infotainment today, music, directions, warnings, customization, new briefing, AI and more, it's all there and you don't need to plug your smartphone to it, its all wireless and automatic when you start your car and your phone is in proximity. Steering wheel controllers work perfectly, and after a little bit of tinkering with the options, the AC controls work fine. It is snappy and looks stock, it doesn't have any flashy branding that makes it look that you're trying too hard. Installation was simple, at least for me with a strong background in electronics and auto maintenance, but may require a professional if you don't own basic tools and basic knowledge, however instructions, while not perfect and a couple of youtube videos could work for you to install it even with little experience, but again if you have no clue on what you're doing you might be better off with a professional. Overall i'm happy about the refresh, it looks much better now and functionality, customization and options are great. ... show more

The 48-band EQ with DSP gives you solid audio tuning if you want to go beyond the presets. The included backup camera supports night vision, which is a practical upgrade over factory cameras that wash out in low light. Responsive touchscreen that makes driving easier

Didn't run into any major issues putting this into my RAM. It fits my dashboard, and it performed well. Connecting to CarPlay has been really reliable for me on long trips to navigate and listen to music without trying to find my phone while driving. The touch screen has been very responsive to what I am using it for while driving the truck every day, and all of my original buttons from the steering wheel continue to work, like volume and call management (and a lot easier than trying to reach across the truck). The clarity of the screen is good enough to read a map in daylight. No issues when I switch between apps and use GPS and listen to music at the same time.
