This head unit really changes the look of the dashboard and gives it a much more updated feel. The large 12.1-inch T-style screen stands out right away and feels similar to the style used in newer vehicles. The display looks bright and clear, and having the bigger screen makes maps, music controls, and menus easier to see while driving. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto are probably the features I would use the most. It is nice getting in the vehicle and having the phone connect automatically without plugging anything in. The built-in GPS, Bluetooth, and steering wheel control support also add convenience for everyday use. The included backup camera support is a nice bonus too. Since this is designed for Grand Cherokee models, I would still suggest checking vehicle compatibility before ordering. I was really impressed with this head unit - and in particular with the massive screen. Installing it in my 2017 Grand Cherokee was fairly straightforward although not necessarily easy. I say straightforward but not easy because it's the same process if you've ever removed/installed a new radio but in this case it's just a lot to remove with all of the trim that has to come off to access everything. The nice thing is that the trim piece that comes with it and all of the wiring harnesses make it plug and play once you're ready to hook it up and all the factory functions stayed intact. The wireless CarPlay works great and connects instantly every time I get in the car. The screen is bright and responsive. The unit handles everything without lag, even when switching between apps quickly. I especially like that it retains my steering wheel controls and heated seat buttons. Sounds is really good too and I like all of the equalizer presets. My only gripe is the AC settings menu could be more intuitive. I had to read through the manual before figuring out which automatic mode matched my truck, and it's easy to select the wrong one if you just wing it. ... show more
