This is by far the present day bible of beauty and skin care. I learned about all the things I’ve been doing wrong and all that I wasn’t doing at all! From wash cloths and lactic acid, to the order and time of skin care product application, I owe the current state of my skin to the author. It glows again! And the fact that this was written by someone who’s not a spring chicken — meaning, they’ve been there, done that, tried it, put it on, saw it work, and saw it not work — makes me appreciate and trust the guidance a lot more. So I bought this book hoping I could get familiar with skincare. I learned that not only should you not use an exfoliating wash, you should use an exfoliating acid after you wash! I had no idea! I’m only half way through the book, but even only half way through it’s worth every penny!
