This is a great a/c! One of the features I love the most about this a/c is the 4 different settings for the fan. I have it in my living room, so when I'm watching TV, I can turn the fan down to better hear the TV. Although, it is a pretty quiet a/c, overall, it is slightly louder on the higher fan settings. It also has a sleep setting as well as an energy saving mode. This a/c also does a great job of cooling off my fairly large 2 bedroom apartment. It was fairly easy to install. It comes with a remote control. Very happy with this purchase!

Works great..... i had it in my living room and kitchen witch is 425 square feet i know its more than what its rate for but this was one of the biggest AC units i could get to fit my window on i have seen 105 outside temps and it keeps my rooms at 78 Note my house is well insulated..

Zafro 5-6000btu window unit. Arrived in a thick, sturdy box that had suffered no exterior damage enroute. The unit inside was pristine. :-) Installation in an ordinary window should be easy enough. Installing into a (permanently stationary) vintage airstream was a little trickier but we got it done with a minimal amount of sweat or swearing. :-) Performance is a mixed bag. It easily cools my 25’ trailer (approx 150 sq ft) but it often is more humid inside than it is outside. Dry mode helps but it also makes it too chilly! (Doesn’t seem to be a way to adjust the temp in dry mode.) :-( I think the design of splashing condensate up and onto the coils to cool them also has the effect of humidifying the air coming into the room. :-( The noise is not bad. I’m a light sleeper, live in the quiet countryside, usually sleep with windows open. The first night that it didn’t cool down enough to be comfortable, I was glad to run the ac. I slept with foam earplugs the first 2 nights but I don’t need them now. The unit is installed in a bedroom window, if both of us are sitting 12 feet away in the living area, it is easy to carry on a conversation. If one is in the bedrm and the other sitting in the living room, some raising of the voice, or moving to the other room might be necessary. This is not the near silent performance of a mini split. You KNOW the unit is running. :-/ I wish the vents had more maneuverability to direct the outflow. The remote control has a well designed interface. :-) You need a watch repair type screw driver to open the battery compartment. :-( The return window is still open and because of the humidity issue, I may go through the hassle of uninstalling, returning and installing a different type unit. 🤷🏼♀️ Electricity use/cost is unknown at this point. 4 stars because easy installation (for ordinary window), good job of cooling, noise level is tolerable. Interior humidity costs Zafro one star.

I read the reviews on this air conditioner, and some people said that it was loud. I don't think that it is any louder than a fan.To me a fan is a good white noise. This kept my bedroom cool all night. I think that I made a great purchase.

Absolutely a piece of crap, installed it in my window turn it in and boom no sound or air flow, let it run for 45 minutes to see if it will kick start and nothing, had to uninstall it from the window pack it back up to return… If u look at their reviews on their actual website you will see one major issue is not starting…

It’s worked really good so far. Side note: Auto mode is preset to a factory temp of 73 degrees. This cannot be modified. If you want it to “turn on and off” at YOUR temp, use cool mode. Eco makes everything function differently. It will sample the air every 5-10 min, but I’ve never seen it trigger the unit to turn on. The room will also be a lot stuffier as “cool mode” doesn’t just do cool air, it also controls humidity and other things using the fans rather than just the compressor. So in cool mode it may seem like it’s on all the dang time but it is NOT using the compressor to make cold air all the time. A lot of the time it’s just cycling air in the space with fans and removing humidity. Eco also changes when it triggers ie the unit can be set to 73 but it can be 75-76 and it won’t even turn on the unit. It like changes the temp range it will activate in to +\- 5 degrees or something If you leave eco on it will get stuffy in the room (or rather stay stuffy). Best only to turn it on when you leave the area or are sleeping
