I just got this portable AC (model PAC-A016B-07KR), and honestly, it’s been a lifesaver during this heat wave. It cools my room (about 500 sq ft) super fast and keeps it comfortable even in the afternoon when the sun hits hard. It’s got a few modes — cooling, fan, and dehumidifier — and all of them actually work well. I mostly use the cooling mode, but the fan is nice when it’s not too hot. It’s not too loud either, which is great when I’m trying to sleep or watch TV. Setup was super easy — just plug it in, connect the exhaust hose, and you’re good to go. It’s on wheels so I can roll it to different rooms if I need to. Also really like that the temp range goes from 61–88°F, so you can tweak it however you want. Overall, I’m really happy with it. I am so glad to find this compact portable air conditioner for my teenage daughter and now no more complains from her lol. Our house is very old, and my daughter’s room is small and faces west, so in the summer her room gets 15+ degrees higher than other rooms even when we turn on A/C. This portable AC is very easy to install with clear instruction guide and fits any edge on the window. It takes only a few minutes to cool the room and comes with a remote control. The fan and dry function are bonuses so I got rid of the fan and dehumidifier to create more space. This small but mighty 3-in-1 portable A/C is perfect for not just my daughter’s west-facing room in the summer, but also if just myself working in the kitchen or living room! It’s no doubt a lifesaver for me and worth every penny for this purchase!

It’s simple to use, comes with a convenient remote, and delivers exactly the output it promises. I verified it with an infrared thermometer. This portable AC unit is just what I needed. The main thing that I really love is that it is powerful enough to quickly cool down my kitchen and family room which has a high ceiling. This occurred rather quickly even with the fan on the lowest speed. The unit has very small footprint, is lightweight, and has a pleasant modern rectangular shape. Assembly was quick and easy as I didn’t even need to look at the instructions much since it is intuitive to put basically 2 tubes to the unit--one for the hot air exhaust and the other is a small drainage tube to remove the water condensation. It is very quiet with hardly any vibration so at times I forgot the unit was on. The convenient remote control can change the temperature control and fan functions.

Over the past years, we have used a bulky and heavy window unit to cool our living room. We opted for this unit in hopes that it would make it quicker and easier to use in home. The swivel wheels make it so easy to transport the unit from one room to another. It cools the space quickly and keeps it comfortable without running too loud, much quieter than the window units I’ve used in the past. Installation was quite simple. Step by step instructions were provided and easy to follow. We have used it off and on in the past month and so far, I have been happy with its performance. Unit has given us a great way of getting cool without hassle.

UPDATE AND 2 MORE STARS The customer service from the seller was exceptional. Based only on my review, they reached out to me. We came to a solution that was very agreeable to me. Only 2 stars because it came on time and it does cool - sorta. I’m using this in a small upstairs bedroom that although it is air conditioned, it’s just hotter than the rest of the house. The manual is horrible. I’ve put together more things from Ikea than I can count, but this machine baffles me. If the big air hose disconnects from the back one more time, or if water leaks one more time, I’m returning it. The outer components (air hose and drain hose) are beyond cheap. I cannot figure out how to completely empty the drain pan. It’s noisier than I expected, but I bought a cheap unit, so that’s on me. It cycles on and off like a cheap hotel room air conditioner every 2 to 3 minutes regardless of what temperature it’s set to. It’s heavy for me, so getting it downstairs and to a shipping store is a huge deterrent for immediately returning it. I’ll update the review either way. I would not recommend buying this
