I just got this portable AC (model PAC-A016B-07KR), and honestly, it’s been a lifesaver during this heat wave. It cools my room (about 500 sq ft) super fast and keeps it comfortable even in the afternoon when the sun hits hard. It’s got a few modes — cooling, fan, and dehumidifier — and all of them actually work well. I mostly use the cooling mode, but the fan is nice when it’s not too hot. It’s not too loud either, which is great when I’m trying to sleep or watch TV. Setup was super easy — just plug it in, connect the exhaust hose, and you’re good to go. It’s on wheels so I can roll it to different rooms if I need to. Also really like that the temp range goes from 61–88°F, so you can tweak it however you want. Overall, I’m really happy with it. Gets the job done and makes hot days so much more bearable.

Over the past years, we have used a bulky and heavy window unit to cool our living room. We opted for this unit in hopes that it would make it quicker and easier to use in home. The swivel wheels make it so easy to transport the unit from one room to another. It cools the space quickly and keeps it comfortable without running too loud, much quieter than the window units I’ve used in the past. Installation was quite simple. Step by step instructions were provided and easy to follow. We have used it off and on in the past month and so far, I have been happy with its performance. We haven't had the unit installed for very long, so can't speak to the longevity. But its a great little unit for the price, assuming it lasts long enough to make it worth it! Ours fit easily enough into our window ledge, for a quick install into the window. Here's the breakdown: Pros +main body is fairly solid +cooling is effective down to at least 63F +remote is handy and responsive +quick install +easy to maneuver +small area at the base, so would fit in any space that has the height available +priced low enough to afford for a secondary home unit in north Texas, where the heat necessitates a second unit. Cons -peripheral components are extremely cheap and flimsy (vent adapter for windows, drain tube and it's attachments) -Window adapter needs additional weatherproofing -needs a longer, more flexible drain tube -instructions are very difficult to understand and follow -no option for drain tube to go through window adapter piece -start and stop to accommodate selected temperature is very loud and abrupt. Can definitely disrupt sleep.

This product is incredible! Growing up we always had wall or window AC units or no AC at all! We purchased this for our garage since we hang out in there during the summer! For the initial install we simply set it up in the middle of the garage and boy did this thing pump out the cold air! It took roughly 5 minutes to get up to full cooling blast! It was quieter than I thought it would be! It is a nice compact size! Great circulation! 3 in 1 Product: This thing works as 3 different products. AC: can go down to 61 degrees Dehumidifier: Removed humidity from the air. It has a hose that you can run outside and have empty 24/7 or drain as you would like or need to. Fan: It has a high and low speed fan that you can run on its own without the AV or Dehumidifier! Accessories: hose for drainage, duct system and window panel to vent hot air from exchange outside, and a remote control with batteries

Cools my living room quickly. Has many settings & a timer , temp settings. Cons: I sometimes wish it has a lower setting. It can be a bit loud at the low setting. Not too loud, but it's not quiet. The hose is very large, maybe 8-9 inches in diameter. The unit has to be no more than 6 feet from a window to connect the hose. The unit may blow smoke outside, nearby windows should be closed. It also requires a bottle to collect water from a hose. I wish the hose panel would accommodate smaller windows, had to saw part of the panel to shorten it to fit my window.

For one room it works very good. (14’x15’). This arrived a day before we had 90+ degrees and extremely humid. We do not have central air and home was built in the 1930’s. You may notice I had to build a platform on our widow sill to hold the vent high enough to exhaust air through the old fashioned screens. I’m 75+ and like to be independent. I wanted to try an ac I didn’t have to pick up and place in window like the 12,000 BTU one I use in our kitchen. 🥵. Once this unit was in our home the weight is irrelevant. With the built in handles I could pick it up over porch threshold with out much problem. The wheels make it super easy to put wherever needed. It seems solid built. It is right beside wife’s chair which is by window. It’s noise can be an issue when watching tv but just adjust volume. I have include from an app I use noise readings while on high and in cooling mode. Next to arm of chair is the range. Plus low fan helps reduce noise. My plan is to get another and replace the heavy kitchen window a/c. Plus only the exhaust vent will be only thing exposed to 90% of days sun. (Had to put a shade up to help older window AC) I also like the two drain plug idea. I use the one at the top and let drain into a small white waste bin. I do have a smaller portable unit in bedroom however, its drain is at bottom only and I can tell you it is a PAIN!!! I like the fact it has a remote as this makes it easy to control.
