This is a machine. I am using it on a porch that has two side sides that are screened. I live in South Florida and it is wicked hot. The screened porch area has thermal curtains that I can close when I choose to use the unit. I am so impressed. The temperature drop is remarkable. I know that if I need to use this unit inside my home, my 654 sq ft will be comfortable. I researched four months to find the right machine to do the job and I believe I have found it. Completely useless product. I plug it in and the lights blink and it immediately turns off. No matter how many times I repeat the instructions and toggle with power sources. This product simply won’t turn on for me and has been a completely worthless waste of money. Avoid at all costs

Bought this as a replacement for a 10 yr plus Portable AC. It is more quiet than the old one, there isn't the sound of the compressor kicking on and off. I like that I can direct the flow of air and control the temperature of the AC. This is my 3rd purchase of an AC and by far the most superior product of this kind for me. ... show more

LOVE THIS AC! Really cranks super cool air and after about 7 minutes it dropped about 8°. We are still cold here, but I have no doubt that once we start hitting those high temperatures, it is going to completely change the way the place feels. It's like the place has central air which is a completely different feel from a window unit. Sleek design and I've covered the ugly, but necessary, exhaust with my curtains. Installation was relatively easy but the directions that come with it are awful. I did have to watch several YouTube videos to understand the best way to get this in the window and make it stable. The reason for a drop in star is because the way in which the exhaust connects to the window insert is problematic, it left a open hole where the round end of the exhaust connects to the window insert which if left open would simply let hot air in defeating the purpose of the unit. I'm certain it's installed correctly. However, I corrected that easily by putting the foam insulation on the back of the hole and then the sticky insulation on the inside. There's no doubt however that that is a flaw in the design. Also not a single YouTube video, showed a setup where the round end of the exhaust is connected to the window, so it took quite a while for me to understand I had it installed correctly, and at the design was the problem(see my picture). It is definitely quieter than a window unit, it still does generate sound which is no big deal in my opinion. Overall I'm super happy with this purchase and thrilled that I no longer have to lose an entire window to a giant AC and I no longer have to lift that heavy Beast of a unit every summer into the window. ... show more

This thing cools our whole home. We got one last year for the first floor (750sqft) and it worked so well we got another one for our second floor this year. Well worth the money and everything you need for the window vent is included. Love that it’s on wheels so it’s super easy to move if needed.

I just bought this giant machine to replace my old broken air conditioner. It shocked me with how efficient it cools the room. I uploaded a two min video testing how fast the air conditioner can lower my room temperature using a thermometer and amazon Alexa, in two minutes temperature goes from 75F (room temperature) to 63F. The two images shows the temperature dropped detected in my Alexa app. I was video recording the noise on top of the machine with the highest power on and the noise produce by the machine is acceptable, with fan speed of level 1 the noise is neglectable. ... show more

    • Not enough cooling power.
Mistake in buying this product. Even fans on high in different modes, it struggles to cool my living and dining rooms. I've had it running all day and Temp is set at 73°, but room thermostat is still reading 80°. It was easy to set up, is quiet, but not very efficient. I went from a 10000 BTU window AC to the koolsiln 12000 BTU and there is little to no difference in cooling my living space which is about 400 sq feet. ... show more
