This has been a solid portable AC so far. It cools the room pretty quickly and the remote makes it easy to adjust without having to get up. Setup was really easy, and the unit can be moved around easily as well for winter months. The unit is definitely not lightweight, so I wouldn’t want to carry it up and down stairs often, but rolling it around is fine. I also think the drainage really depends on how humid your room is. In normal use it hasn’t been a big hassle, but I could see needing to drain it more often in a damp space or when using dehumidifier mode. It hasn't leaked at all since I've had it. Overall, it performs well and feels reliable for the price. I have 2 other units that were around the same price point, and this one out performs all of them. Also the window kit comes with lots of extra length (most actually don't). That's huge so you don't have to buy an extra kit. ... show more

I got this ac unit to replace my old one and I love it. The design is way better and user friendly too. The hose was easy to mount, and the window kit was easy to installed too. The manufacture even included a small piece to fill the screwing gap for the window panel. Functionwise, this unit cooled my room quickly and effectively and stays consistent. The sound isn't loud at all, almost unnoticable in sleep mode. Excessive water drainer and self evaporating system both worked normally. I highly recommend it! ... show more

Thank god I thot this 12000 btu air conditioner. I am in maryland and we went through a severe heat wave where the air temp was way above 100F. I have a work shop in my garage so it was blazing hot. I decided to get a portable air conditioner because I can no longer tolerate the heat. This air conditioner was super easy to install and super easy to use. It is not very loud and does not take up that much space. In addition, it cooled my garage really quick and allowed me to work more efficiently. thanks! ... show more

I received this in May 20, 2026. I used it sparingly at first and it worked okay the first few times. I started using it more about a week ago, and I noticed it makes this sputtering noise and automatically switches to the low setting if I had it on high for a few hours. At this point, it's no better than a regular (cheap) fan. Ineffective and useless. Maybe it's because I live in a high humidity area. I don't know, but I wouldn't recommend this at all if you do. I put it on an elevated surface and connect a hose to a gallon bucket. I have to change it every 2-3 hours. Yet, somehow, it still doesn't get cool. (And I'm only cooling a small room.) Unfortunately, it's too late for me to send it back. I'll just have to buy a new one. Total waste of money. ... show more

It does what it’s supposed to do but unfortunately it’s really noisy and interrupts my sleep when it powers up to cool … there phases when the noise level is okay to handle but all of a sudden it powes up and gets so loud that it wakes you up 🫤

Easy set up, hose came with attachments already on, saved alot of time. Unit cools a small room 10 x 12 very well ,yet to try it in the master bedroom. 20 x 20 . Finally a unit with display on the front where you can see it from across the room!. Fan essentially blowing upwards is a little strange, but the swing option blows the air straight at you in interval, which is ok. I had to send another ac back because the temperature guage was faulty , and when I saw this was set at the temp I chose and didnt change thought this was bad too, but apparently its normal for many brands to only show set temp. Its cooling and cycling on and off efficiently so I know its working. Happy with it so far. * have tried it in larger room approx 400 sq ft works great. much smaller and better looking than my old beast , slightly quieter.
