Unboxing the canopy proved straightforward, but its assembly journey was a different story altogether. The instructions provided were lacking, leaving me to seek guidance from a DIY video, a minor annoyance in an otherwise promising purchase. The real frustration came during the frame assembly phase. While the material and canopy itself were of commendable quality, the process of securing each corner "pipe" into place proved to be a Herculean task. It demanded around 30 minutes of strenuous effort, testing both my patience and strength. The challenge stemmed from the need to lift each leg into position, with an elusive "click" to signal its secure attachment to the top. Maneuvering against the tightening canopy material made the task even more arduous, requiring a delicate balance of force and finesse. Despite this setback, I managed to complete the assembly solo, a testament to my DIY resolve. To fortify it against the elements, I ingeniously tethered the canopy to the concrete patio, bypassing the need for traditional stakes. The installation of the netting, while time-consuming, yielded aesthetically pleasing results, further enhancing the canopy's appeal. In summary, while the canopy itself earns high marks for its material quality and functionality, the assembly process warrants a deduction of one star. Prospective buyers should be prepared for a potentially challenging experience, though the end result is undeniably worth the effort.

The canopy is very light (one of the lightest I've seen) and assembly is pretty easy overall, the first time it is best for 2 people to put it up to get the canopy on correctly but it can be done by yourself. Assembly goes quickly, it takes less than 15 minutes to do the canopy and bug nets. The canopy is really tight and should be able to withstand a good deal of wind. Adding sandbags to the legs will also help with stability if you don't anchor it another way. It comes with a carryall bag making transport to places like the beach and ball field easy, and it doesn't take up a lot of space to transport. They have good customer service and will be willing to work with you if something happens to yours (wind damage, etc). Keep in mind that this is a pop up canopy and should be put up on an as needed basis and not be a permanent fixture to preserve its longevity. Highly recommend it.

The two of us are experienced event tent setup people. It's been am hour. Why? The pop up posts that are to click in require one person to hold down the post while the other struggles to push up the corner to click in. It is flimsier than pictured.

This unit comes in a great storage bag with two comfortable handles, tie-down straps with clip buckles, a smooth gliding zipper and even wheels to easily roll it on smooth surfaces. It’s fairly compact and lightweight for easy transport. Setting it up the first time was time consuming and a bit of a struggle for two people due to the learning curve. It was much quicker and easier next time around. Setup requires at least two people and would be a lot easier with four, one at each corner. The frame appears solid but the push buttons seem a little flimsy. The nylon fabric seems a bit thin making me wonder if it will poke through where it hooks on the corners. The size is nice for a portable canopy. We use sandbags attached to the legs rather than the included rope tie downs. We enjoy using this unit when camping for shade and insect protection.

Initial setup was much easier than anticipated. The directions were a little lacking, but it was easy enough to figure out. We haven't tried the bug netting yet, but used it more as a sun shade at a graduation party we attended. It provided plenty of shade and is highly adjustable. You need at least 2 people to set it up easily, but 4 would be better when expanding the legs. Getting the legs fully expanded and locked in place was a little tight, and required more force than expected, but easy enough to do. The push buttons are in a plastic housing that is easy to push, but I fear will break eventually. Tear down was even easier than setup, we found that we could leave the canopy in tact which will make future setups a breeze. It's a little pricier than other gazebos we've found, but the legs are also stronger than the cheaper ones we've seen. Can't wait to try this on our next camping outing, it really does help with the heat.
