I uses these for my lightup shadowboxes. Works wonderfully for that. The only draw back was the adhesion. But once I realized if you warm it in your hands a bit the backing comes off easily.

Work good, as expected. I own a business and use these lights often. The tape isnt the strongest but I add my own glue to ensure they stay secure. I will keep purchasing these

    • DO NOT BUY, THIS IS A HORRIBLE PRODUCT. 1 entire strip doesn't work and the other ripped in half
Adhesive sticks to tape instead of color strip so you can't stick the strip anywhere. And I tested a strip before I put it where I wanted, but when I set it up and tried it it didn't work. So I have an entire strip that doesn't work at all, and when I was taking the Adhesive off the other strip it ripped the light strip in half, so I lost 70% of the light strip. So out of the two 6.5ft strips I only have about 3 feet that actually works. Very disappointing, I had high hopes to make my room look cool, but ill find another product. ... show more

works great for me. i used them to make a giant cloud. good for crafting purposes. if you'll be using it regularly id choose a USB plug type. but these work because my idea was too far from an outlet and i didnt want to see the wires, also if you don't remember to shut it off in the morning or before you go to bed the batteries will drain pretty quickly, it doesn't have a timer or run time or anything. if they could add that feature it would be great! ... show more

I used it to make my son's spaceship light up as well as making my other son a stick figure. I really did love the product because the lights were super bright, you can change the colors and brightness and overall well for what I wanted. Only docking a star due to the connection from the battery pack wore to the led strip is only secured by the connected wire which is super thin. With my son walking around he ended up breaking the wire almost as soon as we got to the event so only parts of his costume lit up. Maybe reinforcement in that area would be ideal ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought these lights for an art project I am working on. 1. For a project where they wont be touched or are directly visible, they are fine. They are pretty flimsy and essentially just the bare minimum of protection is on them. So any areas where people would bump into them is not where you want these. 2. the remote works, but the connection struggles sometimes. It took me a minute to find the right angle for me to be able to turn them on. 3. the colors are off. If you want a rainbow effect its fine and the blues and green match up pretty well with the colors on the remote. But yellow and white are very off. The first color you see in the video is supposed to be white.....its ice blue....and the yellow is more of a lime green. It worked out for this piece but for the next one I needed a clean white and the white on this one isn't doing it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Ive purchased over 100 LED light kits for my custom LED sign making business and these little kits are the best value. They've sold at about fourteen bucks for two sets reliably. They're good for indoor use only. With decent batteries they last a few months of use in the projects I've done for my kids. The other nice thing is the same remote works across the different sellers if the remote looks similar. The only thing with all these affordable light kits is they claim 16 different colors... I'd say it is more like 8. orange, red, white, blue, purple, green, and barely pink and an orangish yellow. The higher end lights that are four times the price do all 16 colors well. ... show more
