Runs my tools for about 3x the length of my first generation M12 batteries. It's worth pointing out that my batteries were old, so your mileage may very. This is especially useful on my Milwaukee Jig Saw which tends to be a bit of a battery hog. I went through 3 batteries on one small job the other day, and this single battery did the job in 1. I was skeptical at first due to not being able to find any other M12 compact 3.0 amp batteries like this one but it is indeed legit and charged up and ran like a champ! I had the same experience as another user that when I first put it on the charger it flashed as no good but just like him I removed it and then reinstalled it and it charged up fully with no issues! ... show more

My 5+ year old 12v 2ah battery is still going strong. The 12v 3ah battery shares identical physical dimensions, the extra 1ah of the 3.0 battery is likely due to larger internal batteries. OEM batteries are always a bit pricy, but they’ve never let me down, work until exhausted, charge to full strength and lasts for years. ... show more

    • Not a Milwaukee M12 Battery!
Turns out I was delivered a knockoff M12 battery that looked so close to a real on the Milwaukee Repair center had to open it up to be totally sure. Stopped working after almost no actual use. Brought it into the Milwaukee Corporate Repair center when it caused the Red/Green Flashing on the charger for warranty replacement. It looked like all my other M12 battery's, including my other 3.0AH battery. (This one was gift for my Son) The font was "slightly" different, hard for me to notice. The only noticable difference was the Warnings were yellow'ish instead of orange'ish. ... show more
