Got the 160A welder sent to me to try out. Not sponsored, they’re not paying me a dime, so here’s my honest take. I’ve been welding about 5 years, self-taught, and have owned several machines from Lincoln, Harbor Freight, and PrimeWeld. First impressions: super light (around 6 lbs), well packaged, and simple to use. One dial for settings, one on/off switch, and it auto-detects 110 or 220. Comes with about 9 ft leads and a solid ground clamp. I like how portable it is compared to some of my other welders. Performance: I ran this thing hard for about 30 minutes straight in 92°F Texas heat, probably 14–15 rods total, switching between 110V and 220V. No overheating, no shutting down, just kept going. It runs 6011 and 7018 rods smooth with good penetration. Handles up to 1/8” material no problem. Downsides: the included handheld face shield is junk. It’s not dark enough and could hurt someone’s eyes, so don’t even bother with it. The little brush and slag hammer combo isn’t great either. I’d rather they left those out and knocked a few bucks off the price. Overall: great little welder for the money. Lightweight, easy to carry, simple controls, and it welds really well. I think this is a great introduction welder if you're really trying to get into it as it has pretty much everything you need for beginner however if you wanted to move up I would recommend another machine but this is perfect just as is. It's fairly easy to use and it's not super heavy you do need to do some assembly when it comes out of the box but that's not a problem. Very easy to turn on in the heat it took a second for me to understand how it worked however when I got it rolling it was amazing. You can do the 110 volt or the 220 volt and it does come with a conversion so that is extremely useful. It functions extremely well and I was able to use it to get my project done pretty quickly. I would recommend you get it out, assemble it turn the power on, allow it to reach temp and then you're good to go! For this price point it's an extremely good introduction welder for the value.

This is a decent welder for the money. I have worked with stick welders for 35 years and I am impressed with how far the technology has come in the size of these units. My first welder was heavy and large while this little 6.4lb unit has the same power. This has the option to also do TIG but in my experience is better to get a dedicated TIG welder. It has dual 220 and 110. I prefer to use 220. Since I am not doing a bunch of welding this unit size is perfect for casual small projects. It comes with a build it type starter mask and lenses. It also comes with some starter sticks. The adapter to take the plug from 110 to 220 had a bend pin, but it bent back into shape. I would recommend waiting for this to go on sale and save a few bucks. All-in-all this is a great garage welder for casual use and small projects.

I'm completely new to welding and was looking for an affordable, user-friendly machine to start learning. The Sefaspe Stick Welder exceeded my expectations. It's incredibly lightweight at just over 4 pounds, making it easy to handle and store. Setting it up was straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions provided and some handy youtube videos. I started practicing on some scrap metal using the included 6013 3/32 rods. The welder performed smoothly, and I was able to achieve decent welds after some practice. The hot start and anti-stick features were particularly helpful in preventing the electrode from sticking, which can be frustrating for beginners. One thing to note is that the leads are a bit short, but for my small projects, they were sufficient. Also, while it handles 3/32 rods well, it might struggle with larger rods like 1/8 inch 6013 or 7018, as some users have mentioned. Overall, this welder is a fantastic entry-level machine. It's affordable, easy to use, and perfect for small repairs and learning the basics of welding. I highly recommend it to anyone starting their welding journey or for someone to keep a cheap small welder on a boat or farm truck. 5/5 Stars
