I have been using this for a few weeks now. This is the best carplay unit you can buy here. The screen is just beatiful to look at. The colors are vibrant, bright and stunning. There are a lot of features that I am still finding. It connects almost instantly once I turn on my car. The sound quality is very good. Just a little bit of static when you turn down the volume but hardly noticeable. It goes away once you turn up sound. Functionality wise this is a 10. Have not had any issues. Great value for what you are paying for. Just feels and looks like any other high end devise that is used for this purpose. The specs including the processor feel and operate like I have a small pc in my car. The quality of the video from the cameras is just stunning. The capabilities are endless. Pros- GM decided to remove android auto/apple carplay from its new vehicles. Since acquiring my new Equinox EV I really miss carplay. This gives me what GM didn't want me to have. Super easy to setup and get carplay working. Pair to bluetooth. That's it. It automatically starts up when receiving power and goes straight into wireless carplay mode. No need to mess around with anything every time you start your car. Snappy and quick, everything works quickly without lag Supports micro SD card expansion and supports formatting SD card is internal storage Can play games (don't while driving though!) Screen mirroring works flawlessly too Has all the accessories you need to get it mounted. Cons- Buggy. Tried to update the apps from this and it wouldn't work. Rebooted and got things going, but every time I went into my family library it would crash to the home screen. So there's some issues with google play here. It's likely not certified either, so there's the potential for security risks signing in or purchasing things through google play. When I had issues I uninstalled my stuff and signed out, I really only wanted carplay. This still gives me that. Came in a box that says "DASH CAM". Which got me excited, since I didn't realize this had a dash cam. It doesn't. Windshield mount is always loose. Any time I tap the screen it moves a bit no matter how tight I have every thumbscrew. The windshield mount is made with what looks to be cheap plastic, which may explain this. Screen has a very blue tint. It also doesn't get really bright or dim. Wouldn’t do split screen. Home/menu button not persistent in location it was left in, would jump to different spot. No dash cam despite box labeled as such.

This 11.3 inch CarPlay and Android Auto screen adds a major boost to older cars without built in infotainment. The display is bright, responsive, and big enough to feel like a tablet mounted on the dash. It supports Bluetooth, voice control, and even streaming apps when parked. I tried it out during a weekend road trip, using Google Maps on one side of the screen while playing Spotify on the other. Calls came through clearly over Bluetooth, and when parked at a rest stop I was able to stream YouTube without pulling out my phone. This provides an easy way to update the entertainment and media in my 2011 vehicle that lacked proper mobile phone integration. It comes with everything that is needed to install this on the car. Just have to find a good spot to mount it. This does come with either mounting on the windshield or on the dash. Charging cable and the wired rear camera as well. I used the carplay function, and connection was solid with little lag. I also tried the screen mirror function. It worked well, but there is a significant lag. Audio connection via bluetooth is good but tried the AUX out and it works well also, sometimes prefer it. Screen quality is good. It is bright enough even during bright sunlight. System seems to function well, and even lasted with no problem during a long 7 hr drive. Many things to like about this product, specially with the low pricepoint. It is basically a tablet on your dash. There is two thing i do not like about this item, one is the build quality. It feels cheap to hold but fortunately, i wont be holding this as it will sit on my dash. i am concerned on how durable and how long this will last.
