For the price it cant be beat. I had to modify alot because my slab was uneven and narrower than 20 ft. but it was pretty easy except for it wont stand by itself until structure is complete. I braced the corners by clamping 2x4s at an angle until complete. Looks great.

I consider myself pretty handy and I would say overall assembly was not too difficult. I used my own tools. Once assembled it is a quality product but pretty wobbly until everything is bolted down. I was hoping to not use the bolts to connect it to the side of the house but felt it was needed. In place it looks beautiful and creates much more shade than my patio umbrellas. For the price it’s tough to beat. Will see how it holds up under the elements.

Went together well but the directionswere a littleout of irder for easeofsetup!! Withstood 100 mile an hour wind gusts! Actually helped protect the 140+ year old historic house!! The tree crashing over the house however, did damage to the mid area.😢 We will be buying another! #HistoricGreenMountainRanch

I have only just installed this product. It is a good value for the money, but you are getting what you paid for. It is very lightweight and I am not sure how it will hold up, but i was able to bend the metal myself while screwing screws during assembly (150lb woman). After bolting it to my deck and my house I feel much more confident, but it sways and is very unsturdy during assembly. It does not sway now that it is assembled and bolted down. I assembled this myself, only asking for help for someone to hold a pole while putting the roof on, and if I can do it so can you as i am a dumb blonde (more on that later). Just pay attention to the pictures and where the holes on the posts are in the picture. I put this over my hot tub and it has not leaked yet (we have had rain all week). So i am enjoying my hot tub use with the rain in the background. I appreciate they added extra screws as some came without holes for the screwdriver to fit into. I also do enjoy the look of it so far. My neighbor complimented it while it was being assembled. This has made me despise Allen screws as they stripped easily. Also it kept me from using my drill to speed the process along. I am a bit salty that I feel like I cannot hang anything more than perhaps 5 lbs from the poles without stressing them, but this goes back to value for money. If you only need something for shade, then this is perfect for you. If you are OCD, I would steer clear as the poles will not be perfect. You will stress yourself with your level, tape measure, and string when it comes time to bolt it down due to the fact that you use two different poles (a top and a bottom) for each pole to the ground. I am also very salty that it came with four different assembly instructions for four different sizes. And of course the size i needed to assemble was the only one that was not labeled I opened the first box(of 2) and the assembly book I found was for half the size I ordered. Naturally, I figured they sent me two half sizes that i would put together to equal what I ordered. I assembled the first box, opened the second box, and the parts included were completely different with another different assembly book (not labeled). After a confused email to the 3rd party, they instructed me that the unlabeled assembly book was the one i should have used the whole time, so i had to disassemble the first box to reassemble the whole thing (note my frustration on the already stripped allen screws). I know this is partly my fault, I just wish there was some guidance on this, or perhaps not 3 extra assembly books? Or if the assembly book I needed was labeled i wouldn't have had tk waste 3 days contacting the 3rd party and waiting for their reply. If you have issues with this product, contact the third party through amazon and not directly as they are quicker to respond, but they do respond.
