I have only just installed this product. It is a good value for the money, but you are getting what you paid for. It is very lightweight and I am not sure how it will hold up, but i was able to bend the metal myself while screwing screws during assembly (150lb woman). After bolting it to my deck and my house I feel much more confident, but it sways and is very unsturdy during assembly. It does not sway now that it is assembled and bolted down. I assembled this myself, only asking for help for someone to hold a pole while putting the roof on, and if I can do it so can you as i am a dumb blonde (more on that later). Just pay attention to the pictures and where the holes on the posts are in the picture. I put this over my hot tub and it has not leaked yet (we have had rain all week). So i am enjoying my hot tub use with the rain in the background. I appreciate they added extra screws as some came without holes for the screwdriver to fit into. I also do enjoy the look of it so far. My neighbor complimented it while it was being assembled. This has made me despise Allen screws as they stripped easily. Also it kept me from using my drill to speed the process along. I am a bit salty that I feel like I cannot hang anything more than perhaps 5 lbs from the poles without stressing them, but this goes back to value for money. If you only need something for shade, then this is perfect for you. If you are OCD, I would steer clear as the poles will not be perfect. You will stress yourself with your level, tape measure, and string when it comes time to bolt it down due to the fact that you use two different poles (a top and a bottom) for each pole to the ground. I am also very salty that it came with four different assembly instructions for four different sizes. And of course the size i needed to assemble was the only one that was not labeled I opened the first box(of 2) and the assembly book I found was for half the size I ordered. Naturally, I figured they sent me two half sizes that i would put together to equal what I ordered. I assembled the first box, opened the second box, and the parts included were completely different with another different assembly book (not labeled). After a confused email to the 3rd party, they instructed me that the unlabeled assembly book was the one i should have used the whole time, so i had to disassemble the first box to reassemble the whole thing (note my frustration on the already stripped allen screws). I know this is partly my fault, I just wish there was some guidance on this, or perhaps not 3 extra assembly books? Or if the assembly book I needed was labeled i wouldn't have had tk waste 3 days contacting the 3rd party and waiting for their reply. If you have issues with this product, contact the third party through amazon and not directly as they are quicker to respond, but they do respond.

Very happy with this purchase. I originally considered hiring a contractor, but the quotes were extremely expensive, so I decided to tackle it as a DIY project instead. This turned out to be a great value for the money. The quality feels solid, the design looks modern and clean, and it looks fantastic with my deck. Installation was straightforward, and the finished result looks much more expensive than it actually was. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a high-end look without paying contractor prices.

Super low quality the size is fine. The shade is OK OK. The SMD is straightforward fitting is a problem because there’s no easy way to mount it on the ground. What they don’t tell you is that you need a contractor to come in and sort of create concrete screw holes for you to place this soundly on the ground

The Breezestival 10' x 16' lean-to gazebo is a fantastic and sturdy addition to any deck or patio. Its galvanized steel and polycarbonate roof beautifully balances weather protection and natural light. However, the large footprint takes some patience to install.

So far so great. Nothing majorly hard about assembly. You’ll need two people for some of it but the majority can be done alone by someone who’s got experience putting stuff together. It’s sturdy, and provides good shelter from rain. We were missing one piece and sell overnighted it to us. We’re pleased with this.

I wanted to add a small shade component to my existing deck so I've been looking at & pricing these for well over a year and they all seemed to be more than I wanted to pay especially when adding on shipping fees. This one was fairly priced and there wasn't an additional shipping fee making it a good deal for the money. I read the reviews and most seemed favorable so I decided to take a chance on this and I'm glad I did. I got the 8x10. It was shipped in two flat boxes, one was much heavier than another but manageable. My husband and step son put it together and it took the two of them about 4 hours. A half hour of that was unpacking everything and organizing the parts & pieces ready for the build. Everything was packed very well, labeled well, no missing or broken parts or pieces. They were able to follow the instructions well enough without a lot of cussing. Always a good sign. For our set up we had to make some modifications. The kit assumes the you will be attaching the feet into concrete so it includes concrete anchor bolts. However, we wanted to screw it into our deck so my husband made a quick trip to the hardware store to buy 2 inch wood screws plus washers and that combination worked just fine to attach the feet and they are quite secure. On the legs that butt up against the house there were brackets included to attach about half way up so you could screw it to the wall. We would have been screwing into brick which we didn't want to do so by modifying and placing them higher up, we were able to anchor the legs into wood instead. That's what we wanted and our modification worked just fine and is solid. Overall we are very pleased and impressed with this pergola. We do live in an area that can get huge amounts of snow and it's only rated to withstand 4 inches. Thus, we intend to take out the roof panels in the fall and store them in our shed. The panels slide into a frame work that includes channels to receive them so it shouldn't prove to be too much effort to take them off to store thru the winter. I have given this a 4 only because I cannot yet determine its durability but I think it seems like it's going to last for awhile.
