They recommend that you have 4 people (one on each corner) to pull it open after placing the roof over the expandable frame, but I found myself alone, and needing to put it up, so I anchored one of the corners with the included stakes, and went around a few times pulling the other corners away from that anchored point as hard as I dared. After a few rounds of this, the structure was close to its final size, and all I had to do was push the brackets up on each leg until they clicked into place. The lower halves of the 6 legs are adjustable in height, so you can have quite a high or low ceiling - it's up to you. The "walls" are ok, with velcro style attachments to the frame along the top and down the sides, but this does leave a small gap down the sides, so don't expect them to be tightly closed. You can tighten the gaps slightly by continuing to pull the legs apart before you anchor the rest of them down with the tent stakes. There are 4 window sections and 2 "door" zip sections, which you can put on any of the sides in any orientation, so this is super flexible. We put both zip sections on one of the long sides, and all the window sections on the other sides. The zip/door sections also have string included on either side, so you can tie the door flaps back when in use. Overall, I'm impressed at the value for money, quality of the parts, and ease of construction. I have yet to take it all down again, but it doesn't look any more difficult than putting it up in the first place. ... show more

The unit was replaced; very pleased (happy) We just took our tent out of the box & two (2) of the legs are bent. The money that I paid for this was a waste now my window to return is closed. This company should inspect the legs, metal is real cheap. Please don’t waste your money buying from the company unless they use better metal. ... show more

The third time the tent was used, a giant gust of wind threw the tent on the ground, despite the sizeable weights we had on the feet. I understand that there are no limits to what nature can do, so I don’t fault the tent, but there is no way to contact the manufacturer to get a replacement part. A good product should have a way for customers to contact them with questions or problems. Please, can someone provide a phone or e-mail for me to get a replacement part? Thanks. ... show more

    • Great budget canopy for the money.

I purchased this canopy after searching for several others. This one was half the price of the more expensive options, but it also wasn't the bare bottom priced one either. First things first: my canopy material tore when raising it up. I followed the instructions exactly, and even had 4 people helping spread it out. The problem is, the material needs to be centered over the corners perfectly, or it's going to tear if it's not positioned right. BE VERY CAREFUL when raising it up. We ended up ripping two of the corners when setting it up. Luckily, the seller replaced the canopy at no charge. I also found you can order additional canopies for $40- see the "questions" section. Despite the tearing, this canopy held up very well. We had around 10-15 mile per hour gusts when we had the canopy up, and it never had any issues (we didn't use any of the side walls). I was pretty impressed it held up. I wouldn't recommend leaving it up with any stronger winds though. Overall, I think this canopy is worth the money especially over paying double. Be careful when you are setting it up as stated above and you should be alright. Pick up an extra canopy or two just to be safe... On related note, I was at a recent festival and happened to notice this canopy being used commercially, so it must not be too bad in terms of duration. ... show more

Bought two for our company picnic. They were so nice that one of my coworkers actually bought one during the picnic. They were so easy to put up and down we actually had a contest to see Group could get it down first. Takes minutes. This is a good tent.

    • The Velcro will not hold in the wind

It was easy to expand. Velcro needs to be replaced by something stronger. Don't park your car if there is strong wind the sides will do damage to it, the front quarter panel of my car has nicks and scratches from the side that let go.

The tent was perfect for the cost as long as you install it correctly and don't use it if it's raining or windy. With 4 people it installs in minutes but with 2 you may run into challenges. Taking it down only requires 2 people. With these tents you should never leave up overnight or in the rain which explains many of the negative reviews.
