The poles were sturdy and the material of the canopy's ceiling seemed thick and robust. I'm happy that our family party went well with the help of the canopy. I was able to install the top cover on my own as it is velcro straps. I thought it would be difficult to open on my own but i realized i can open the whole thing by lifting the whole canopy and pushing it up in the middle until it was fully extended. Was able to do the same putting it away after usage. Lightweight and cokes with a carrying pouch

This shade tent is so very easy to put up and take down. The easiest I have ever delt with! Two of us did it in minutes, with ease. We purchased the grey shade tent with 3 walls. It is a great looking tent, with windows for light in the 2 sides. This shade tent was used a block or so off of the coast of he Atlantic Ocean. We purchased heavy duty 12" stakes because of this. We experienced a heavy wind and rain storm on one of the days. It was super solid throughout the wind. Our sleeping tents nearly flattened on the gusts, but this stood its ground. Gratefully we didn't have the sides from this set up, as I don't know how well they might have done in the gale force winds! We did have walls up though from another friend we were camping with, and those tore loose from the velcro. The seams definitely need sealing, to prevent leaking. We received our tent, literally the day before we left for the trip, so seam sealing was a pass. It is needed as the tent leaked a little bit over the course of an entire day of hard rains. Given the total rainfall that day, it wasn't much rain. I'm still totally impressed and will be purchasing another for future trips. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
