The velcro that holds the top in place is very strong. When it rains, I lower it as far as I can and take the top off. The canopies are not for rain protection, I need them for sun protection. This canopy structure is easy to put together and has clear directions. One person could probably do it, but two would be better. I like that the metal is painted so that it is less likely to rust. It's a nice size and high enough for tall people. It's lightweight, so I added some sandbags to help keep it from flying off in the wind. It's very good for keeping the sun off, but not so well in a heavy rain. I'll mainly be using it for a booth selling farm products for a charity. ... show more

This is not a pop up tent for reuse. The top is unforgiving and we were tempted to throw it away because we didn’t know how to roll for return.’ My patient husband folded and smoothed until he could roll it tight enough to put in the box for return.
