    • Great for 3D Printering!
I purchased the 10Pcs Needle File Set for use on objects produced on my 3D printer, and they work very well in with the PLA filament. Due to the nature of 3D printing with PLA filament, often times parts need to be filed down slightly to mate with other parts. The files are sturdy and the rubber handles make them easy to hold & use, & their narrow profile make them ideal for intricate work. Highly recommended! I have no idea where some of the poor reviews come from - to me it seems like its another case of Amazon including reviews for another item(s). Folks have complained these are not large enough or long enough. These do not bend easily. They are meant for fine work, not grinding automotive parts and the like. They are not made for that kind of work - they are made for fine detail work on softer materials (wood, plastics, PLA filaments, etc.). If you use them for metalwork, they will wear very quickly. Be sure you select files that will match you need before purchasing any file. And look at the 1 & 2 star reviews to see why folks left that rating and then decide for yourself if those comments are pertinent to you and your need. ... show more

    • Nice selection of small files
I got these to replace a nice set of 4 steel mini files I misplaced. I did not want the diamond files as they wear out too fast for my uses. So far, these are working well and holding up to my use with metal, wood, and plastic. The rubber-like plastic handles are more comfortable than the bare metal handles on my old set and also offer better control. This is a great little file set for cleaning up 3D printed parts. The files are pretty small, about 1/8" inch in diameter, which is nice for fine details.

Originally thought these were much larger. They aren't (my fault). And man are they helpful as heck with everything from saw chains, to crosscut saw teeth, hole filing in sheet metal or plastic, bevelling, you name it. So far...have had zero issues with these. Remember- they are small! (smaller than a pencil in thickness)...so these were an accidental buy that I am super happy with. ... show more
