I purchased the 10Pcs Needle File Set for use on objects produced on my 3D printer, and they work very well in with the PLA filament. Due to the nature of 3D printing with PLA filament, often times parts need to be filed down slightly to mate with other parts. The files are sturdy and the rubber handles make them easy to hold & use, & their narrow profile make them ideal for intricate work. Highly recommended! I have no idea where some of the poor reviews come from - to me it seems like its another case of Amazon including reviews for another item(s). Folks have complained these are not large enough or long enough. These do not bend easily. They are meant for fine work, not grinding automotive parts and the like. They are not made for that kind of work - they are made for fine detail work on softer materials (wood, plastics, PLA filaments, etc.). If you use them for metalwork, they will wear very quickly. Be sure you select files that will match you need before purchasing any file. And look at the 1 & 2 star reviews to see why folks left that rating and then decide for yourself if those comments are pertinent to you and your need. ... show more

I've been using these to clean up my 3d prints. There are a nice variety of shapes in the pack to get into the nooks and crannies of my prints.

These mini files are small enough to use on paper crafting, like making cards, roughing edges, etc. Plus, I use them to file down the rough little edges on metal craft dies. They are perfect because they are a true file or rasp; not a diamond finish/surface.

Files are very sharp and high carbon steel. I was able to File down some rough spots on a knife blade that was 440C. Not sure how they will hold up as I just got them.

I use these to clean up 3d plastic prints and they work great. Small size can get clean up interior corners.
