It's easy to use you just follow the directions and use the measurement. I was impressed with the size that I got. I was tired of spending money on other products that didn't work like Nat Geo. As a beginner i would say these are a good buy. I love the ceramic pellets. I haven't gotten good with the polishing. You may have to tumble longer for polishing. And make sure you sort your rocks because they polish differently. Still learning but im not upset with this buy

I purchased this in February and have been using this grit for three months. I really like it and have had some nice results. Stage I seems to be the weakest of the stages. In all fairness, it could be the types of rocks I am tumbling too that are 7+ on the Moh's scale. The remaining stages have produced some awesome results! Ordering my second batch today!

It’s smoothing my stones nicely. The polish doesn’t make them that shiny but this method of polishing usually doesn’t on its own. It still makes them very smooth. Good deal for how much you get.

I've already done a few batches of rocks and I'm super happy with the grit performance. I've added another end step for more shine, but altogether a really fantastic set. Especially since it came with the polishing beads and the ceramic media.
