My cart topped out around 14 mph and after installing this it’s up to 20/21! Not very difficult to install either if you have a jack to remove they rear tire. Definitely worth it!

    • Very Speedy, but...
Our cart very defiantly runs faster than ever on flat runs and downhill, we have to be very careful and much more alert. However, on slight uphill inclines it often goes in "stutter" mode making us wonder if it's going to fail at some moment. I suppose I will have to purchase a backup part.

    • Solved my golf cart problem
I thought my batteries were going because the cart kept going slower. So I watched a few YouTube videos and found that this is kind of a regular wear part. I swapped it out and it works perfectly now. Saved me from buying $1200 worth of new batteries!

My 2017 Club Car had become slow and was not great going up hills. Installed the speed magnet and increased the speed by 5 miles per hour. It's like a different golf cart. This was a last ditch effort to get some speed out of it or I was going to trade it in for a new golf cart. I think I will keep it! ... show more

    • Works Great!!!!
Take a cheap 5/16 socket and grind it thin so it fits on the upper sensor screw. Save it for future repairs. This will help you remove the sensor mounting screws. After the new speed magnet and sensor were installed my golf cart goes faster. Up hill and flat surfaces remain the same speed (15MPH) but there is no longer a restriction going down hill (no re-gen either). According to my GPS speed indicator, my Club Car DS got up to 23MPH before I had to hit the brakes for a speed bump. I am pleased with the results. I needed to replace my speed sensor anyway so this was a very inexpensive and satisfying repair. ... show more
