If you can get by not using official modules with your network get these. I just want to take a sec and talk about how nice the packaging is for a 10G module. I put it in my connectx-3 NIC on my server and put another one in my LB6M. It greened up immediately and got to work. Can't say enough good about 10Gtek. Most of my modules are the ones from FS but these are cheaper than FS with 1 day prime free shipping. I'm really happy with these optics. ... show more

Working great so far with an HP NC523SFP 2-port 10G PCIe card, QNAP TS-832X NAS (Annapurna SFP+ ports), and MikroTik CRS305-1G-4S+in desktop switch. All my cables are Cablematters "OM3 Fiber Optic Cable/LC to LC". I don't believe the "for XXXX" matters, they all seem to be the same SKU. Bought two single "for Intel" and this "for Cisco" 4 pack and they seem interchangeable and none of my devices are Cisco or Intel. Good thing I purchased the Ubiquiti sfp connectors as well, these did not work for my 24 port POE Ubiquiti switches. If I relied on the information in this listing, my clients network would not have been working when they needed it to. Very disappointing. The picture shows the network working, after switching around the SFP port adapters to the 1G Ubiquiti ones. We have already purchased the 10G Ubiquiti SFP adapters, which you can also find through Amazon. Never am I wasting my time buying these off brand connectors again. ... show more

Plugged it in and both sets worked initially (got the 4 pack). a few days ago one set stopped working. The status would cycle between network cable unplugged and enabled every few seconds. Today the other set stopped working. Total waste of money and time. Avoid if you value your time and money.
