Works as advertised and is safe for fur-kids. It does work residually, which is a huge plus. Took care of my ant problem on my patio. Spray liberally on them and where they come from. If you get a large enough amount of the liquid, pour a bit in the crevices they hide in. No more ants.

We love this stuff! Not only is it safe to use around our pets and in the kitchen, it has a nice citrus scent and it really works!! We had some disgusting neighbors who ended up causing a german roach infestation that covered our entire courtyard!! We have been trying everything to rid our yard and home of these nasty things. We use several products in a rotation since they become immune over time to most insecticides. This Orange Guard spray is great because it works on contact!! Immediately killing the creatures we see and it seems to create a barrier in the area that will continue to kill for a little while afterwards. I like that we can use this anywhere in our home and yard and not have to worry about noxious fumes or danger to our pets. Common sense use and keeping our animals from getting into the area, licking or walking in it of course. We are so glad we found this larger refill. It should last us quite some time and keep those nasty bugs at bay. Highly suggest this for any kind of pests you may be dealing with!

Lowe's quit selling this product and I momentarily went into a panic, then I calmed down when I got out my phone and saw that I could order it on Amazon. We don't like to have harmful chemicals around the house so we've used this product for years. It quickly kills ants, wasps, the little brown roaches that hitch rides in brown paper bags, spiders . . . and has the pleasant smell of orange, not the gagging smell of chemicals. I've sprayed this on wasps as they were flying toward me and they drop out of the air immediately. Since I'm allergic to both wasps and a lot of chemicals, this is the perfect solution. I keep a spray bottle by all the doors to take out in the yard with me so that I can be safe while I'm out in the garden, walking out the front to get the mail or going out in the garage to get in the car. Last year, because of our severe drought conditions, the city had an epidemic of Black Widows. They were in our bushes, by the water faucets, in the garage, in the shed, around the front & back porch -- it truly was the "plague of Black Widows". We went through Orange Guard like crazy keeping our dogs, cats and ourselves safe from these poisonous spiders. We weren't about to kill spiders and then poison ourselves with the typical chemical insecticide. This works as well as well-known chemical insecticides, if not BETTER. It's safe to use around food (not ON food, but around food -- like at a picnic, for example), is safe around pets & children and adults. This is our product of choice when it comes to dealing with unwanted pests. I'm am SO GLAD that I was able to find it on Amazon!!!!!!!!! Thank you Amazon!

This stuff is GREAT but it has a few minor drawbacks; I'll explain below. NOTE: While its NOT TOXIC to pets; avoid them ingesting it anyways as they will get diarrhea from it as a side effect. You can spray near the edge of litter boxes and the adjacent walls where insects may appear from but not directly on or into the litter box. First off it's perfect to use to get rid of the majority of house pests (not including the two legged kinds) without trouble. Ants, Bugs, Spiders, and Termites all run when this stuff is put into a simple spray bottle and walk around the house to spray as needed: door and window frames to kitchen shelves. Remember that this stuff is sticky until it dries and even then there's a little bit of tackiness about it; so wipe with a clean wet cloth to remove it from where you don't want to touch it. If doing the outside of the house and yard; I would recommend a 1 Gallon Lawn and Garden Pump Pressure Sprayer with 3 Water Nozzles, Pressure Relief Valve, Adjustable Shoulder Strap available at Amazon or local hardware/Big Box Tool Store. I do recommend that you cut the formula for spraying to 3:1 mix of Distilled or Bottled Water to Orange Guard solution to allow it to pass through the pump wand easier. Use a FINE or MIST Setting on the spray pump wand and go slow and even over the areas you want to spray. Usually you should the base of the house around the Heat and Air Conditioning Units outdoors anywhere Insects and other pest can enter the house about 18 to 24 inches. This includes electrical outlets and water taps outside. Spray along the outside of gutter down spout/drains (again 18-24 inches). If you spray outdoor plants to prevent bugs remember that you should spray them and then wash it off after a week or wait until about 2 hours after it rains to apply. Don't forget to wash your hands and shower afterwards since you'll smell like you spilled spoiled Orange Juice on yourself after using it. It's the old downside the smell dissipates after about an hour or so and can be annoying the first time you use it.

hello, ants get kicked out of their lair during the hot summer months. they find somewhere else, like inside of homes to carouse around and have fun. that is not fun for the residents. the commercial sprayers are very strong and some are not approved for use. so, a strong but safe for children and pets solution is necessary. the orange guard product is one of the best and we have been using it for the last several years. it does not have an attached sprayer, so one is necessary. when the product is put in place, indoors, it gives a fabulous citrus smell. the ants and whatever else walks around bite the dust. it keeps the kitchen relatively ant free during the hot months. with a small rag, the edges are wiped down in the winter months for upkeep. a product that works, is safe for children and pets. plus, it does not smell like a chemical factory similar to those commercial ones from the local big box stores. a fantastic product and wonderful smell.
