We have given it for his birthday and since that day he is not letting it go. He is taking it everywhere! It is truly a great product for the children who loves science. The microscope is very easy to use for the kids. My nephew is only 7 years old and he can manage it all alone. The button is big enough for his small fingers and the screen is very clear for him to see the things. The focus dial is also very easy to use. He can focus it on the leaf, on the ant, on his own finger even! The 1000X magnification is very good, you can see all the details. We looked at a butterfly wing and it was so beautiful to see all the tiny scales. We even saw some tiny bugs on a plant that we didn't know were there. The photo and video feature is also very good. My nephew can take pictures of what he is seeing and show to his parents. It is good for school projects. The design of this microscope is very good for children. The yellow color is bright and fun, and the rubber casing makes it very durable. My nephew has dropped it a few times and it is still working perfectly fine. The battery life is also very good. It can last for a long time, so he can take it on long walks in the park and not worry about it dieing. The light is also very helpful, it makes everything very clear. I am very happy with this purchase. It is not just a toy, it is a great tool for a science. It is a fantastic gift for any boy or girl who is curious about the world. I am thinking to buy one for my own house so when he comes to visit we can look at things together. This digital microscope is amazing! Super easy to handle, great image quality and very light to carry It can be used with slides, using the attached plaatic cover, or you can just zoom in on things without using slides. I love it!

Love this little microscope! Was really surprised at the quality! Purchased as a gift for my 6 yr old son. He has a blast carrying around with him and looking at all sorts of things. We go hiking in this canyon behind our house so there is so much he can explore. The picture is very clear and easily focuses. Very user friendly. I look forward to seeing him grow and learn with this little microscope! Great gift for all kids!

i got this as a gift for my little cousin and i’m very impressed. i liked looking at fossils with it. nice value for the money, functions perfectly, decent battery life, love the educational aspect, the focus is so much better than i thought it would be

My seven year old is obsessed with this! I knew he would like it, but this has given me a LOT of time to get things done because he’s looking at anything and everything. It took a second for us to figure out the lighting modes and zoom functions, but once we realized the dial turns further and was just a little stiff at first use it was a blast. The zoom is awesome, the fibers he is able to see in clothing is cool. Battery life is great, but definitely charge it before you give it so they can play with it immediately. We haven’t used the camera function much, but seems like it works fine and you can grab an SD card for storage if needed.

This is actually pretty cool. All 4 of my kids ranging for age 4 to 11 love it. We were surprised by how much detail it can pick up and the ease of use for my little ones. Would recommend for any curious explorers.
