This is a game changer!!! It’s very easy to assemble, and is capable of lifting everything I have had to put in my truck, without me having to pay someone to help me load and unload every time I need to go to a job, or clear my truck out! It’s got pins that can safely lock the crane into place while you jack it up or down! It’s got a nice length to the boom, and two different places you can hang the chain and hook from to give you additional length, leverage, and lifting capabilities! It’s pretty heavy duty, but breaks down into multiple pieces which makes it easier to assemble and disassemble, and makes the overall weight easier to handle! If you need to lift something heavy, and you have no help, this is a must buy!!! ... show more

stout and well made, my only beef is that the support for legs will only let you use a reciever hitch that is at least 16 in off the ground....alot of trucks are lower to the ground than this...including mine. When I emailed about sending a longer (16 in) in stead of 14 in one supplied they basically said outtaluck....so I fabricated the length I needed 18 in, my self which added $40 to the cost. But the thing works and can really lift plenty high enough to get large objects into the bed of a truck. Boom will go 8 ft high from the tip. Easy to put together and take down. You will want to use hitch clips instead of cotter pins though if you want to take it completely apart. ... show more

    • Can confirm it will lift 500lbs
Review Image by Amazon Customer
This crane works as advertised. That box weighs about 500lbs total, having about 450lbs of sand for winter weight. Crane lifted it well with no problems, and swiveled very smoothly to rotate it out of the truck bed. I was definitely worried about the welds busting on me, but it seems to have held together alright. Assembly wasn't bad at all, the box it came in was nearly watertight with tape, and all parts arrived with it. Instructions were clear and it's a fairly straight forward assembly. Overall, very happy with it, and really glad I ordered it ... show more

    • Good Quality Crane That’s Worth The Price
This is a good product that appears to be solidly constructed. Assembly was mostly straightforward and the instructions are good if not great. It’s also very easy to use once assembled. It works well for my application which is placing/removing a 200 lb. fifth wheel hitch on/from my truck. Having read other reviews, I was a bit concerned about the weight and reach of this crane. Yes, the box is very heavy, like around 95 lbs., but once the crane is assembled, it can be separated into two parts, base and crane mechanism, which makes storing it a more reasonable task. The two parts are still heavy, but you don’t have to lug around a 95 lb. fully assembled crane once you’re done with it and I’m not even sure that you could. As for the reach, the crane really is meant to just lift objects onto or off of the truck bed. You’re not going to be able to place your load exactly where you want it as you might with an overhead gantry crane for example. Furthermore, I’m only using the crane at its 500 lb. capability limit. If the chain is attached to the 750 or 1000 lb. position, that would limit the reach more. The product diagrams ought to give you an idea of the reach. Overall, I find that this product met my needs and I would recommend it to others. ... show more

    • Worth the money
Bought specifically to remove my outboard from my boat and place on my stand. Easy to set up, use and tear down.

    • Good idea, poorly implemented.
Color: Yellow
This is pretty light duty. It's nearly unusable due to lack of reach. There is no adjustable boom. The legs get in the way of whatever it is you want to lift unless it's incredibly small. If it's a dental chair forget it. If it's a 1 foot square box then it will probably work fine. The good is the swivel. It works great. ... show more

    • Slow shipping but good lift
It took forever to get here and the box was nearly destroyed by the time it got here but for the most part the lift wasn't damaged. I've had a lot of trouble here in the last few months with FedEx taking longer to ship that the expected time. The lift looks good heavy and well built. The boom had a little scratch on it done during shipping. Haven't used it yet but it looks like it will do the job. ... show more
