I had been searching for a while for a reasonable portable ac unit and finally decided to try this. I started using it about 2 weeks ago for our main living area, it is an open concept space that gets quite warm in the summer. I was looking for something powerful enough to make a difference in a larger room as smaller units hadn't cut it in the past. Setting it up was fairly simple. The window kit worked with our sliding window, and while installing the exhaust hose took a few minutes, it wasn't complicated. The unit itself has wheels, so moving it into place was easy. Our living room is roughly 600-700 sqft can now be kept at a comfortable temperature on very hot days. I set it to around 70-72°F and it brings the temperature down effectively. The adjustable fan speeds are useful, I usually keep it on medium for general cooling, and the highest setting can really push cold air into the room quickly if needed. The dehumidifier also works well, and I've noticed the air feels less muggy when it's not extremely hot. I haven't had to drain it manually much as the self evaporating seems to handle most of the moisture. I only connected the drain hose once during a particularly humid stretch just in case. The fan mode is decent for just circulating air. It does quiet down in sleep mode, which is important for us since our living room is closed to bedrooms. While it’s not silent, it’s much less intrusive than when it’s running at full power. The 24hr timer is also handy for setting it to turn off after we go to bed. Overall, we are happy with the upgrade to our living room.

When we use it, it is worth noting that when the temperature is set low and the fan speed is the highest, the compressor will run at full speed and the noise level may increase slightly, which is normal. Therefore, in order to reduce noise, we can increase the temperature and reduce the fan speed after the room is cooled!

Thus unit stopped working properly no more that 2 weeks after the installation set it up. It stopped cooling and started filling up at a ridiculous rate. The seller sent me a unit that had been returned. There was no remote control and no user manual. I immediately contacted Amazon customer service. According to Amazon, my issue would have to be handled by the seller. This was on June 19th. After trying to communicate with the seller through their website, they failed to live up to their company policy of handling customer issues expeditiously. Finally, again I attempted to get Amazon involved, in hopes of them intervening on my behalf. That was days ago and I still haven't heard from Amazon customer service. This has been a horrible experience. The unit started filling up with water every hour to an hour and a half. That may have been the reason someone returned it in the first place. I would not purchase this unit. It is definitely not worth the money or trouble. I'm in the process of returning this peice of work to the Tecxerllon company. Buyer beware.

I couldn’t be happier with this portable AC during this heatwave! I bought it for my livingroom and it’s been an absolute lifesaver. It cools the room down quickly. I found this 15000 BTU portable air conditioner is simple to set up and can cool down the room quickly. This portable AC unit has features like a dehumidifier, fan, sleep mode, and 24-hour timer and even comes with a remote control for convenience. This portable air conditioner is easy to transport from one space to another due to the wheels on the bottom. It comes with the window installation kit but will need tape or so to seal the surrounding area on the window to prevent the mix of hot and cold air. Nonetheless, it takes me less than half an hour to install, and it needs some cutting on the installation window kit plate in order to fit the window width. It's a three-in-one product that doesn’t need to take up too much space and avoids bugs coming in through the window. It meets my needs and works great so far. On the other hand, the sound from this portable AC unit is loud, but that’s what most of the ACs have. Nevertheless, the quality is good, and it serves the purpose of keeping my room nice and cool.

It cools down the room extremely fast—within just a few minutes, my living room becomes nice and cool. It’s also very convenient to use, highly flexible, and easy to move around without being limited to one space. As for installation, it’s not complicated at all—just make sure you have the correct accessories, and it can be set up smoothly. Now that summer is here, this unit has really solved the heat problem, especially in the living room where the cooling effect is very noticeable. The noise control is also quite good. I can run it at night while sleeping without being disturbed. The remote control is simple and intuitive, and the built-in drainage and timer functions are very useful. Overall, I’m very satisfied with it so far .
