This cover came in a vacuum sealed pouch. Once opened, it expanded nicely. The seller photos made me think the white fuzzy parts were thicker, but they’re actually thinner, but not too thin. I tried to cover all essential points in my "headline". My only issue was not figuring out the 3rd mode of use: to roll to the LEFT and snap the strap to hold off the warm cover. I could find the strap, and I could roll, I could not figure what I was to snap it to. finally, I looked at the online ad to see that the white snap was within the white fleece type material, and I didn't see it at first. which means: that if given as a gift, the receiver would struggle like me to find it. IF all the information is on the ad page, and there is NO insert or information provided in the cellophane package, than the recipient will struggle too. the other thing, is that SOME (not all) canopy covers will snap to the underside of the infant carrier handle, this then creates an air space between the cover and the baby. when using it again in one of the modes, where the cover is completely over the baby's face, there are NO air holes. some other designs will have small air vents with mesh on each side to allow some airflow, but not from the top of the cover. I imagine if running from the car into the doctor's office, or into the house, quickly, and it was raining or snowing, you would want to cover the baby's face in the mode with the cover over baby's face. again, with so much scare about SIDS, and baby's breathing, that it would be scary. I might feel better if there were straps to hold/secure the cover up and to the handle to allow for an air gap, rather than to have the most minimal air gap when covered over. I liked the cover best when it was snapped and just the baby's face was exposed. I could see this being the most used "mode". you want to keep baby warm, but provide air. ... show more

This is great for the winter to keep your baby. Nice and warm and cozy. It’s really easy to put on and take off when needed. Just always make sure your baby is able to breathe and has good airflow so they don’t overheat.

This baby car seat cover seems to be made well from high quality materials. It is very thick and provides a great deal of protection from the elements and insulating warmth. My one hesitation is that, when fully zipped up, I don't know how to know if my baby is getting enough air flow. Especially with a very young baby, I get anxious about them not breathing well or overheating if not checked super frequently. For peace of mind, I would have preferred if there was some very obvious mesh section that allowed for obvious air circulation. For my peace of mind, I always leave it a little bit open and I do check on baby way more than probably necessary. ... show more

This is a great warm cover for winter. It is thick and lined nicely. I'm not concerned about the "fluff" because it stretches out well so as not to get into the baby's face or you have the option to leave the area unzipped. Waterproof which is obviously needed for rain and snow. Seems like it has a windbreaker quality for wind gusts on top of it. Great product. ... show more
