I have mostly ridden dirt bikes. I haven’t ridden a bicycle since probably high school. My husband has injured his back (compression fractures) so we’re getting away from the dirt bikes, but still want to enjoy the outdoors and riding. So he decided to take up bicycle riding and is training for a marathon type event. I figure I could just ride with him but since it’s been so long I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep up with him or ride the distance (sorry this is so long winded). So this bike was the perfect answer. We went to bike shops and looked at e-bikes and they all started at $2K. I don’t really want to spend that much so this bike was more economical. Once we got it put together, I really don’t understand why the other bikes are so expensive. This bike is well built and feels solid. It took just over an hour to put together and the instructions were easy (and a little comical) to understand. They are obviously translated poorly, but there are also plenty of photos to help you understand. It was easy and they give you quality tools to put it together. We charged the battery for maybe an hour and the light turned green. I rode it today and was very pleased. I was in the 7th gear so it took a bit to go, but once I started to pedal, the assist kicked in and felt like someone was giving me a push. It was amazing! I only got up to assist #2 because I was on dirt and didn’t want to go too fast, but I can tell this bike will haul butt. I geared down to 6th gear and it was perfect. Super fun and I know if I get too worn out chasing my husband it will be okay because the bike can do the work for me. At the same time, I will be able to build my endurance and strength. The lights are bright and the horn is incredibly loud. The brakes work great. The front forks work great but I didn’t really notice any shock absorbing in the seat. I rode over a washboarded dirt road and felt like my brain was getting rattled, but the bike really isn’t made for that. I know it will do great on the pavement. I am 5’ 2” and I can touch barely on my toes. I ordered a different seat post that will give me the couple of inches I need to feel secure. 40.3mm diameter in case you need to do the same. As far as shipping, I couldn’t find any info on what size the box was to know what vehicle to pick it up in. You have to sign for the package so I had it delivered to a pick up location. So if you’re in that same boat, the dimensions of the box are 9” X 27.5” X 52”. The tires are 26” X 1.95” and inflate up to 40psi. Overall I’m very happy with the purchase and feel like I saved about $1200 for an equal quality e-bike.

I received my Cybervelo EK7 sooner than expected which was a wonderful surprise! The bike was easy to assemble and the customer service response rate was excellent answering questions and concerns I had regarding front tire assembly. I took the bike for a spin and the ride was comfortable and handled amazing. The battery never dropped its full charge and I went all across town twice. (Small town) I can tell the material is sturdy and will last a long time! The only noise I get is from the new brakes that should go away after a few more rides. (Hand Book mentions this) If you follow safety regulations regarding regular bikes, you should have no problems while riding the e-bike. The weight of the bike is pretty heavy. Hauling it up and down flights of stairs would be strenuous and tiring if you live 2nd story apartments or higher. (Dont recommend) The packaging came in good condition. The bike had NO scratches or damages. This was a plus! I'm glad I don't have to go through the return process. This is my main mode of transportation and I'll depend on the professional time and consideration the manufacturer put into making it worth all my hard earned money. I built it myself and I'm not good at building things. I played the youtube video slowed down to .25 speed and looped on repeat while I WFH, to familiarize myself with the steps and parts. I watched the the video on mute while I did my work calls lol and then after work, I built the bike in one hour! I rode a 3 hour ride on the beach and the battery still had 80 percent left! I stayed on PAS 3 bc it was too fast for me on 4 and I did not even try 5. Its very fast and I don't have a helmet yet. BEST PURCHASE. I will be buying 2 more.

So far I am loving this bike. It was fairly easy to put together but what I am most impressed with is the customer service response. I had a few parts incorrect and they answered quickly and provided the answers needed. This bike has a very "cool" paint job and it seems extremely sturdy. We had bought another brand and we were very unhappy with it and returned it. After reading these reviews decided to give this one a try. So far I am very pleased.

After sending emails back and forth to the company directly and through Amazon, we were wanting to keep the e-bike since it was all put together and just be able to have the Company reimburse us for the missing parts and have the bike company here in our state to fix the bike and we will send a copy of the receipt to the company and Amazon; which I did. The company said they would reimburse us, we are still waiting to receive reimbursement as of November 4, 2025. I was requesting $250.00, which would cover everything plus our time and hassle going back and forth to the bike shop 5-6 times which is 45 minutes away- one way when the The e-bike after getting fixed is AMAZING to ride! I LOVE IT!! We bought 2 at the same time, we had problems with only one bike.

Great bike and pretty easy to put it together. Nicely welded and strong frame. Love the look of the bike overall. Was fully charged on arrival. Gears seem to shift nicely. We changed the seat post and seat to fit my height, but that was really easy. Had a little issue with bolt fit on one spot, but cybervelo staff helped on how it fit. They were great in quick communication on email and even sent a video. Looking forward to some great rides!

Never experienced company response like this. Would like to add that at first I was cautious about buying something online and then dealing online for any service I might need. If that's your concern you won't believe the response from this company. Responded to my inquiries within the same day.
