I used this product to block light in my camper windows. The stick on Velcro attachments can peel off of the window frame if I don't hold it down when removing the shade. The material is very thin but seems sturdy and completely blacks out the light.

Was fairly easy to cut, measure, and install. Measured it one inch larger than window dimensions which worked out well. We used only the clear sticky adhesive tabs and not the Velcro tabs as we didn’t think it was necessary to use both. The fabric is thin but silver coated on the back side (you can see this in my exterior photo) so it definitely blocks the sun. I took photos of two windows with the shades down. The left window no blackout film, the right window with blackout. Total difference! Now you can watch TV without the window reflecting in the television screen, Thank You!!! ... show more

When this stays in place it blacks out a room as it should. However, the room we're trying to darken is east facing and heats up causing the adhesion to fail and the entire thing falls off the window frame. We're trying it again but this time sticking it where the sun can't heat it up and melt it. Probably on the outer trim instead of inside the blinds. ... show more

This is a very nice shade , it's really not a curtain, but overall it works very well made of good plastic material doesn't let any light inside this is a nice shade completely black's out all light good buy for the price

Using these on our back french doors to help with glare on the TV. We decided to just use magnets since the doors are metal and I didn't want velcro up all the time.

I like that you can’t see through the material and it does help with cooling your home. But the adhesive for the Velcro doesn’t have a lot of staying power. I may find something else to help it stick. Otherwise works nicely.

This film is a great option for travel! It doesn’t come with scissors but has a cutter tool. It comes with clear stickies and Velcro as well. The inside of the film is that silver reflective material and the other side is black. There is a lot of material to work with making this a good option for multiple windows/locations.
