Just got it yesterday, and so far, I love it. Though folded and rolled during shipping, it immediately laid flat. Seems thick enough and large enough not to skid. Bold strong color, which seems to anchor the room. I did read that some strong colors may transfer, and suggested a mat under these rugs (at least til they’re well washed, I imagine). Because of the construction and variegated colors of materials, I don’t expect it to easily show wear or minor dirt, especially in a moderate traffic area in my home. I’m actually replacing bathroom rugs with these chindi rugs, for all the same reasons. No more boring single color rugs, that show every blip! I plan to machine wash and dry these when they need it.     • Pretty rugs, not so great on bare floors, or easy clean

(See update below) I bought two of these for my kitchen floor. I loved the color and the material. I did read reviews and bought anyway. What you should know: -I like them and I’m keeping them, however… -They don’t really stay put, so I bought sticky pads to put in four corners but they still don’t stay put too well. Because of it you can trip and fall (I’ve not fallen, but I’ve tripped on the rolling edge a few times). -You have to hand vacuum in order to clean them, as you can’t run the vacuum on it, or it’ll snag the weaving. -You can brush a bit with a broom, but you still have to vacuum to get it all out. Dog hair will stick anyway a bit and will show if it’s a light color fur. -I’ve not washed them cause I’m afraid they’re going to snag or unravel. I think hand wash would be best, but who hand washed rugs? (I should’ve thought about this beforehand). -I dripped a bit of bleach on accident so now I have a few light splotches here and there on one rug. NBD, but you can’t flip on other side as it’s not reversible really. I love the colors, so there’s a plus. I may attempt a light cycle in my washer and hang dry since weather has been nice and hit for it. May post an update if I do. All in all, if you’re okay with all that, they’re nice rugs. No cushion of course, but you can be barefoot on it. Update: I’ve owned these about a year. Washed them on delicate cycle twice and hung up to dry. They still did unravel a little, so I ended up taking a crochet hook to re-weave, and stitching it with needle and thread here and there. I still love the color, and the material, but in truth these aren’t very good kitchen rugs, or anywhere with high traffic. I tried keeping them on floor with rug grippers but that just got sticky stuff on my floor that it’s taking a lot to get off when you mop the floor (I hate rug grippers). All in all, if you were in my same predicament, I’d tell you not to buy them. I’m ultimately going to buy something else now. ... show more

First off when you receive this rug it will smell like a chemical plant. It will come folded in a shape you think that the creases will never leave. BUT WAIT!! Unfold your carpet and leave it outside in the sunlight for a day or two. No more smell and no more creases. I bought two after purchasing one at a Amazon returns store called Black Fridays. The rug was well made and the colors are bright. Even though these rugs don’t have a non slip backing they do not slide or slip. They are thick and heavily woven and sewed . They have a thick black border on each end that holds all the fabric together. I will order more rugs soon for other areas of house. ... show more

    • Nice rug but more vibrant than advertized!
This rug is cute but in person, the color is a big more vibrant and hot pinkish. Because of this we werent able to use it in the space we initially planned to. With that said, it is really comfortable and a great high traffic area rug. It does need a rug pad to help with sliding. The creases from it being folded came out within 24 hours of just having it unfolded on the floor which is great! It is a nice thickness too. ... show more
