The media could not be loaded. We recently purchased the 10 x12 version of the pergola. It took us roughly 6 hours just me and my husband (mostly my husband😊). We followed the instructions but did not use power tools at the start and it could have shaved off time. Should you encounter bolts not biting through the thread, this is a minor issue as there were some short thread bolts. We replaced them with slightly longer ones, and it will solve the issue. The type of bolt is called M6 x10 that we used instead of the M6x8 bolt that came with the pergola. Other than that issue, the assembly is relatively easy, just more parts to put together. Ideally, you may need 3 people when attaching the beam and the post, but if you have a way to secure the posts to stay upright (us, we tied it to our deck rail just so it does not wobble) you can achieve this with 2 people. We can say this pergola is well built. It looks amazing and we are very happy how it was engineered being engineers ourselves. We didn't have any missing or broken parts. They interlock together when closed so we know rain won't go through. BTW, we noticed the middle beam is slightly inclined higher than the side beams which makes sense if the intention is to direct rainwater to the sides. There are 2 louver controls making it convenient to open and close whichever side you want. We now spend a lot of time on our deck because of the shade it provides. Seller support is excellent; they are very responsive and that is a big plus. Overall, we highly recommend this product. We have done extensive research on different pergolas, and this one has met all our expectations. For the price, it is well worth it given how you can use it year round. Go for it!

We looked at multiple pergolas and this was exactly what we needed. It’s very well made and looks amazing. Powder coated finish is a dark gray. Also comes with screens if you live in a buggy area. Arrived in six separate boxes and one of the boxes was damaged, but the company has great customer service and it was easy to get a few replacement parts. We love the adjustable louvers and it does a decent job redirecting rainwater, but I need to make some adjustments where the beams come together. It also comes with screws to hold it down in case of high winds, but overall once assembled, it seems heavy enough to maintain its position position, but with still recommend the screws if you live in an area with no protection and strong gusts of wind. I would definitely recommend this pergola

Re-vitalized our lake home deck, wish we had done this years ago! Project went together perfectly….by my engineer hubby. He did not like the wordless directions. He had watched several good YouTubes on the assembly, highly recommends doing so. All parts were neatly organized and well packaged for shipping. Box #1 came one day, the remaining 4 delivered the next day. We ordered the screens & drapes, but have put up drapes on one corner where the setting sun heats us up. He laughed at the tiny allen wrenches provided for assembly…used his battery impact drill.
