I got this tarp as a footprint for a tent. I've used many tarps before to cover up patio furniture and have always been disappointed. The weather would wear on the tarp and lead to holes within 6 months at the latest. Even though I haven't used this tarp for covering patio furniture, I have the feeling that it would hold up much better than other tarps. As a tent footprint, it did the job of protecting the tent. I didn't have any problems with the hooks ripping out since I didn't use it for a truck. Of course, since it's sturdy, it's also pretty heavy. I would highly recommend. ... show more

It is a great tarp, tough, the exact size, not the cut size. I use it for summer shade, it is a stretched over my deck and subject to much sun, wind, and what ever rain we get. All previous tarps would be showing signs of wear by now, not this one. Because it is made to cover a load the sides are slightly bigger than the middle so it does not stretch tight, but rather is tight in a rectangle in the middle then has about 2 feet of loose material on the sides, which would be perfect if I were trying to cover a load but looks a little funny over my deck but I can live with it if I get two years out of it! ... show more

I bought this for a footprint on my kodiak tent and it is perfect. Sturdy strong and the perfect size 14x10 same size as the tent. Great D rings to peg to ground , very happy after one use on my lawn. Will test it out on tougher terrain this weekend
