We used a short king sized mattress pad and sheet to further keep everything together. It works well to create a smoother line between the two. Opened it up and it has a very strong chemical smell. I took it out of the room and hung it outside. If the smell goes away I'll keep it as the quality looks acceptable. Otherwise it would have to be returned. I can't imagine sleeping with the bridge inplace and breathing in the smell of whatever is used in the manufacturing process.
