Not as sturdy or heavy as you would wish. A bunch of nozzles fire at odd angles. The water coming from the edge nozzles has cooled noticeably. However, all that said it delivers exactly what you would hope. Even with the restrictor in and being fed by only a 3/8" line it still gives the feeling of a drenching downpour. I don't know that this would be the case if it was having to fire at an angle from a wall, but with the water falling from the ceiling it is great. A wide pattern that covers you completely, but the density of the falling water is low enough you can breath normally while standing right in the middle of it, and if feels like falling water, not a blast from a pressurized hose. It installed as simple and easy as any shower head and never threatened to leak. I'm glad to know I don't have to pay a fortune to get the the luxurious experience I was hoping for when looking for a large format shower head. I can't even get a decent low-end commodity shower head from my local Big Box store for what I paid for this. ... show more

I debated between this head and the one that is even larger. I've used a cheap plastic rainshower head for years that I love, but it didn't have rubber spouts so it crusted up too easily and was difficult to clean. I ended up ordering this as its replacement and I'm VERY happy with it. The build quality is excellent, and, it turns out, it's a good thing that I didn't get the bigger version. We are on a well, and this one is right at the limit of what my water pressure can reasonably sustain without losing flow in the corners. Do be aware that these need to be mounted flat, not at an angle from the wall, and that a modicum of pressure is required. I will say, however, that I did install a flow valve in my shower and sometimes I turn the flow way down so this gently drips like a light sprinkle. It's very nice that way too. All in all, I'm thrilled with this product, and I suspect it will last many years. ... show more
