    • Low quality, constantly having to readjust, barely holds an average size phone

Opened it and set it up right away. This light ring has a lot of quality issues right out of the box. So much so I am returning it ASAP. I do a lot of photographing and videos and this kit is just not up to the quality of similar units I have ordred in the past. The light would just randomly swivel. There was no way to make it stationary. The phone holder was double the length of what was shown in ad photos and where the holder bar hits on our android and iPhone it would either rest on the power button so we couldn't take photos or the sound bar so it would constantly show the sound bar on my phone. I even tried a separate phone holder we have but the neck was still much too long on our unit to get proper video/photo. My phone also would start to pull the unit over because the stand and everything is too lightweight to actually hold up to the weight of an average size phone. This is a definite pass if you want consistent photos/video without constantly fighting to keep this stand, light, and phone holder steady. Not worth fighting with it every few moments. ... show more

Absolutely great for videos and streams, love the sturdy base and how easy it is to adjust. the lighting is very easy to adjust and has great power and colors. My girlfriend loves this and was easy for us to use.

Update: The company reached out to fix the situation bc I think the second phone clamp thing i received was defective. You could only attach it to the table mount but it only faced towards the ceiling. But this thing just isn’t going to work. It doesn’t work whenever I need it to. It’s just always falling apart. The lights are super finicky & flicker, no matter what type of USB block I use, even if it’s plugged straight into my USB wall outlet. I have yet to use this thing w/out getting infuriated w/ it. I bought it to take cohesive merch photos for my online business…but it defeats the purpose when the phone doesn’t stay in place in between photos & I’m having to readjust it non stop bc it droops since the phone is too heavy. So does the light. It’s just junk in my opinion. Again, I do appreciate the company reaching out. But for $30??? No thanks. It’s just not worth it. Also, I bought it bc it came w/ two tripods. But one of them is useless to me. & it’s just not stable. It might work great for you, but it’s not going to work for me. I’m so confused… i received 2 phone holder things but no way to attach the second one? So idk if I got the wrong parts or maybe I got extra parts? The tripod itself is okay. I wish the little flexible phone holder wasn’t so tall. It won’t work for what I need it for bc of that issue. But I can still use it w/out the light. There’s a few things I would change. It doesn’t feel very sturdy. The extra tabletop tripod is very unstable. There’s no way to lock in the legs so you have to perfectly balance your device. Except iPhones are super heavy so it just falls over fairly easily. It’s a decent value for the price. But I specifically picked this one bc it came w/ 2 tripods. So it kind of stinks that the smaller one isn’t really functional. The little button thing is nice. It’s a little cheaper than the one I already have. But it’s always good to have a backup. Especially w/ the way things are made these days. lol But yeah, if youre looking for something that’s going to be able to handle a ton of wear & tear or folding/unfolding & packing up.. I’d probably get a different one. But if you’re using this to just keep setup & you’re not going to need to move it around a ton.. then this would definitely work for that. ... show more
