I would have given this sub woofer 5 stars if I would have been able to install it myself. No fault to sub woofer...I'm just more savvy at Home Theater audio as opposed to Car audio. Now about the sub woofer. It sounds really good. I wasn't looking to blast my stereo for the world to hear, but I really wanted to hear and feel the base better in my car. I ended up having a professional Car Audio store install the unit and I'm very pleased. The bass is definitely and enhancement to the premium sound system in my Acura ILX. It fit under the seat very nicely and there are no rattles or buzzing at all. Totally worth the price for this unit. Additionally, after seeing the comparisons in the audio shop, I like that didn't have to spend close to $1100.00 that they were recommending I spend on a different sub woofer at the shop. If you are looking to add some really clean and "thump enough" bass to your stock system, go for it. One last thing, It's nice that I can still have conversations with my girlfriend in the car and still hear and feel the bass!

I can't give 5 stars due to inaccurate specs (or over-stating for advertising). First, the sub itself is NOT 10". It should be classified as an 8" as the best diameter I could stretch was 8.25". Second, it is NOT 1200W. That said, it is still a pretty decent unit, hence 3 stars. I have an EPICFOUR amp each driving Pioneer TS-A6961F in the front and Pioneer TS-A1671F in the rear in my 23 Tacoma. I added this to give it just a little extra punch. I don't need to rattle the windows since I mostly listen to Yacht Rock. The unit itself works well and mounted easily behind the rear seat of my double-cab pickup. It adds the perfect amount of bass to make my system complete.

I've been quite impressed with this subwoofer, despite some slight exaggerations in the product description. First, the diameter of the sub itself is not 10", but rather the width of the entire unit is about 10", which is helpful, because it fits within smaller dimension spaces, handy for smaller vehicles or storing below a seat. Setup and installation was easy with the included wiring and I have not had any issues with the connection with my aftermarket head unit. Overall, mounting it was easy in the trunk of my vehicle and it has hook and loop strips to avoid sliding around. The sound quality is good, with the smaller sub diameter responding quickly with deep, but not overwhelming bass. It has some slight adjustability in terms of the mHz range, but it's been working reliably for me for several weeks without the need to change anything. For a compact everything-you-need-is-included package, this represents great value for money, and I'm quite happy with it.
