It cooled the room much faster than I expected and kept the temperature comfortable even during the hottest part of the day. I also like that it offers multiple functions, so I can switch between cooling and other modes depending on what I need. The remote control is convenient, but I find myself using the app quite a bit since I can adjust settings without getting up from my desk. Being able to set a timer has also been helpful because I can have the room cool before I need it and not worry about turning it off later. Another thing I appreciate is how quiet it is compared to other portable units I’ve used in the past. It provides a nice background hum without being distracting. I got it a couple days after the originally estimated date nevertheless it was on time in my schedule. I was moving to another room where it stays hot. It took me about 15 minutes to open the box, set up the machine, and get it running. Very easy to set up. As soon as I plugged it in I pressed the power button and it was all smooth sailing from there. My room was ice cold in less than an hour. Plus, I had my ceiling fan running for better circulation. It is quiet. Would cool a bedroom very comfortable. I am using it in my living room and dining area, about 500 sq. ft. with 8 ft. Ceiling. It is very good unless the outside temperature is in the upper 90s-100, which it often is in Indiana. Then the coolest it can get the room is about 80 degrees. I can not run the air conditioner fan on high in cooling mode. The water tray fills up about every 2 hours and I have to empty it. That is not easy. If I keep the fan on low it doesn't have to be emptied manually. It was easy to set up. When the outdoor temperature is in the 80s the unit will keep my area down to 70 with no problem. Did not cool properly. Had to find another item to replace which I had to pay for when ordering. The refund took weeks, which was $259 and was only resolved when I lodged a complaint with Amazon customer service.
