There is some unknown hole in my kitchen that mice have made or discovered. I swear there must be a family of them. They're noisy too! I live with 2 large (pitties) dogs who are useless and more afraid of the mice than I am!! Among doing other mitigation like making sure they have no access to food or water and sealing holes with steel wool, I decided to take a chance on this device. So far, so good. The device makes a soft, but annoying chirp. I can hear it, but it doesn't seem like my dogs do as they take no notice. Since installing the mice activity has diminished greatly. Not sure if it's this device or the mitigation efforts as it's too soon to tell.

These things do not work! They are a hoax. They don't keep bugs of any type away. They are also big and chunky and take up a lot of space whether you plug it into the wall or a power strip.

Keep in mind if using them they don't work instantly. It took a few days when I first set them up in a house I had in Florida. They worked great for about 2 years until they finally started breaking down. This looks just like the one I had and has the same sounds (at least the one I can hear). I'll give it a few days and if not working well, I'll report back. For now 5 stars.
