I received my ice maker today and so far I am impressed! The maker itself is pretty quiet. The fan on the side is not very loud and stops when it dumps the ice into the ice bucket within the maker. It produces about 9 cubes every 10 minutes or so. I would recommend having a small bucket or container to place your ice in so that the ice can be placed in your freezer as this will help to keep your ice frozen. The ice maker does come with an ice scoop. I got this ice maker while it was on sale with a $25 coupon and to me, it is worth every penny. If something were to happen to this ice maker, it would be one I would consider. 8/19/2023 UPDATE: Ice maker now has an issue 😔 A couple of days ago, this ice maker started making a LOUD noise. I think it was as it drew the water up to freeze into cubes. It would last maybe 10-30 seconds and stop. I tried leaving it off for a while and turning it back on. The noise went away for a bit but started again. I drained it & put another batch of water in to try the self cleaning function and the noise even started then. So it was left off for a day and tried the next day but to no help. The noise was still there. Soo I went and bought a well known brand name ice maker today. I was a bit bummed that this Zyerch only lasted only 3 or 4 months before any issues came up with it.

I was pleasantly surprised at this little ice maker. I was skeptical when it was less than half the price of most other brands but still gave it a chance and glad I did. It’s rather quiet all things considered. No I wouldn’t put it in my bedroom and run it at night but it’s no louder than my dishwasher or fridge. You literally just fill it with water (I did find that putting a quart of water in the fridge helps it freeze faster) and turn it on and wait. The tray fills up pretty fast. So as long as your tap water is good, you should have a nice plain ice cube. No frills, just simple ice. And it fits compact on my counter.

Works as expected. We used this for a year when our fridge didn't have an ice maker. Works well. It doesn't make much at a time or very fast, but you can make extra and put it in the freezer--just know that it may stick together. I don't recommend it for a family that uses lots of ice, but for one or two it works well.

I first got this and did not like the product lol. My machine came looking a bit dirty inside & then using ot I felt the ice was small and it took too long/produced too little and the fact that the ice doesn't stay cold inside and you can't store it bummed me. But then I realized that that was all the ice machines on Amazon. Adding water and letting it run on it's own in the morning and storing it for later produces way better results. It gives the size large time to grow and gives you more ice in bulk. It's easy to add water, use the buttons, and read the face for when it is full. It is easy to clean as well. I am grateful we kept this product and use it weekly and it has overall been great.

We have bought two of these in the last three years. It seems great initially, but they don't last. We loved the first one, so after it broke after a year, we thought it was a fluke and bought another one. This second one didn't even last a year. The sensor was faulty so it would not register when the ice was full and would keep trying to make ice. This caused the plastic scoop to chip off and so bits of plastic were in the ice. Then the plastic chipped off so much the scoop wouldn't work at all. Like I said, it works great INITIALLY. But it seems poorly made as it doesn't last. This has happened us twice, so it doesn't seem to be a fluke.

I have had this for 2 months now. This is my expierence. It is smaller than I thought. My last one is much bigger inside. This does not hold a lot. I have found this to be more of a personal machine, than it is for a family. This is if you like iced drinks throughout the day. For the occasional iced drink, it's fine. The basket and the scoop are very thin and cheap. The basket already has a tear in the material. It happened when I simply tried to take the basket out. It is on the louder side. My dog is 15 years old. She's 3/4 deaf. She barks all the time at this machine when it's dumping and preparing a new tray. There is a very strange hint of a weird taste. I cleaned it 3 times prior to using. I have cleaned it since. But it just doesn't go away. I only use filtered water, so not sure what is happening. I wish I had returned this when I got it. I figure I will deal with this until it breaks and then purchase a new one from a different company and it will be bigger. This is just not an amazing machine.

works great for entertaining not so well for all day trips ice melts fast but great around the house freezes fast about six min. we leave it on all day ice melts but not all We got it because ice maker died in freezer it was a chiose of 159.00 plus labor or 109.00 for table model it works and I saved money plus also waiting for repair person that was going to be a week or more labor shortage
