Picked this up before a hunt because I couldn’t find my GoPro (older model), and the shipping would have it in my hands before my trip. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. It came with a handful of useful mounts, 2 cases (open and waterproof), a remote and spare battery. After charging it up I played with the functions which were easy enough to navigate, and got familiar with it. Worked as it should, and took great pics and video with plenty of space on the included SD card. I’m pretty pleased with it, it’s not GoPro quality but does the job and seems to be compatible with most of my GoPro brand accessories. The downsides are: the recording in 4k is hi-res and playback on some TV’s/Laptops/Computers/Etc may appear choppy or sluggish if the platform you’re viewing on can’t handle it. Unfortunately you can’t change the resolution afterwards, so I recommend changing the resolution to 2.7k (still hi-def) for better playback, compatibility, SD space, and battery life. Which brings me to battery life… it runs down the battery quicker than I thought, so it’s handy to have the second one. They’re small, so I guess it’s expected.. just keep the second one handy. Finally the recommended app isn’t quite the same one in the App Store, so I downloaded the one that appeared to be compatible with it. Haven’t been able to get it connected to the app, but then again didn’t put a whole lot of effort into it - Ive always just plugged my SD into a USB adapter on my computer. Well there you have it, it’s decent for what it costs and if it gets smashed or damaged during your outing it’s not as big of a deal as it would be for a more expensive name brand. ... show more

First off, this is a GREAT package for the price -- It's a nice compact 4K submersible action camera with wifi, easy to navigate menus, a reasonable assortment of attachment hardware. It even includes an SD card and TWO batteries. So, it's a really fantastic value for the price... That said, you do get what you pay for. In bright light, it takes great photos... and that's a legitimate usage case that may work for most people who only do "action" stuff when this camera would be at it's prime... but lacking a flash, on a dimmer day the photos are what you see attached -- abrupt loss of detail and depth tolerance (those trees are neither blue nor fuzzy). Video becomes a bit jittery as the camera tries to deal with less ideal shooting environments. Battery life is TBD at this point -- right now, that's not very impressive BUT I acknowledge some batteries have a wear-in/training period before they reach full capacity. Here again, if you are using it as a dashcam or able to keep it plugged into USB power, battery life won't affect you at all. ... show more

Giving this product 5 stars due to the excellent value. Make no mistake, this is not equivalent to cameras costing 10x more, it just does what it says it does for a very affordable price. I use it as the tail camera for a recumbent tricycle. I was rear-ended on a bicycle a few years ago, and the jerk didn't stop, and they were never caught. I needed something relatively small, durable and waterproof. It also helps that it doesn't cost a fortune, so it is less likely to be stolen, and it won't break my heart if it gets damaged. I mounted it next to the rear wheel and it gives a very clear view of what's behind me. I modified the case so I could run a usb cable through, and connect it to the trike's battery so I never have to charge it. I like the fact that it has motion detection, and loops new recording over the old automatically. I can download the video wirelessly if I want. I did try mounting it to my helmet to see what the video would look like, and since it has no stabilization technology the video was pretty choppy. this will NOT compete with more expensive options as a helmet cam, despite the extensive mounting accessories that come with it. It may work better with a handlebar mount, but I didn't try that. Time will tell if it will hold up, but for now this camera suited my needs perfectly. ... show more

I tried a couple apps the GoTrack app worked for me. Connected my phone to the camera’s Wi-Fi and opened the GoTrack app and it worked well. So I am happy with the camera and accessories. Have just tested it out so far but camera and wrist band remote work well. Have lowered it down about 15’ in river thru ice hole and did not leak. Would be nice if battery life was a better but you get 2 batteries and the price is right. ... show more

Good for what you pay for. My advice is to use a high quality sim card. I used a V10 rated sim and it was laggy and grainy. Recommend a V30 or 40 or the highest quality sim card to get clearer pictures.

Works well. Cheaper than high end/name brand models. I really like the remote to take pics or start video. I have it mounted outside my car with a high powered magnetic mount. Haven’t tried the wifi option. Pictures and videos look decent. Battery is average , that is what I would improve the most.
