I’m impressed with the appearance and quality! Size is perfect. Its band is thicker than my women’s watch by the same brand, and the face is bigger, but it’s not so big that it looks too flashy or obnoxious. Very classy design. I love the Roman numerals. It only has 12, 3, 6, and 9 in Roman numerals. The rest of the numbers are symbolized by sterling silver arrow-like symbols, which catch the light so well, they almost sparkle like diamonds, but more understated. I also really love that it has a little slot that displays what day of the week it is, as well as the day of the month, “THU 25”. The only thing I would change about the face design is the tiny words “Keep up with global fashion” written towards the bottom. Luckily it’s so small that you can’t see it unless you put the watch close up to your face. (Other people won’t be able to read it while you’re wearing it). If there’s one thing I could advise International brands on that are marketing to the USA, it’d be to stop trying to use English phrases on your products. They never translate to something that we really want to display/wear, and it cheapens the product. It’s MUCH better to stick with a “simpler is better” approach, and just keep the design plain and classy. No words or phrases. You’ll have much more universal appeal to your products! Sorry for that tangent, but had to get it out lol. It also comes with an adjusting tool specific to this watch, and a detailed manual. Overall, this is a really handsome, high quality watch at a fantastic price. I think this is a fantastic looking watch. Unless someone is eye balling it up close, they're not going to know the brand. It's really easy to set the date and time. I didn't even read the instructions. After more than 24 hours, it's keeping perfect time and the day and date successfully transitioned as well. As I said already, it's a nice looking watch. From a distance, it looks a bit like a Rolex with the crown emblem and mock diamonds at the hour markers. The double clasp works well, holding securely but releasing without much effort. I just noticed that it can flow in the dark after holding it up to a lamp too. However, the glow is pretty short lived so don't expect to rely on it in the dark most of the time. Where I take a star is the metal. I don't know what it is, but it it feels a bit plasticy to me. It is metal, but it doesn't have the same feel and sound of my other Seiko and Guess watches. Don't get me wrong, it still looks and feels nice, but I'm wondering if the finish will hold up over time like some of my other watches. The other thing that bothered me was the way the entire watch came wrapped in plastic and tape. It took a good 25 minutes getting it off because it doesn't tear away and even though I was cutting it with my knife, I had to be careful not to scratch it. Why they would wrap it like that is beyond me. A little bubble wrap in the box would be more than adequate. Overall, it seems like a nice watch. I'll happily wear it with dress shirts.     • Classy-looking watch at a value price
Color: 04 Grey Dial/Silver Bracelet
This is a very nice full-featured quartz watch, with an attractive grey dial and bright polished metal band. It's fitted with a sweep second hand and luminous hour and minute hands and hour markers. The dial also contains a day-date window at the 3:00 position, and the crystal is mineral glass for improved scratch resistance. The dial contains tiny stones at each hour marker, referred to in several places as diamonds, so I have to assume they are real diamond chips. The 40mm case and the band are stainless steel, and the band closes with a classy "butterfly" deployment clasp. The watch is referred to in one part of the listing as being waterproof, and in others as water-resistant to 30 meters (98 feet). It then says it's okay for rain or brief immersion, so I think water-resistant is the more accurate description. My impression? Overall, the watch looks a lot more expensive than it is. It's not a cheap watch that will easily get scratched up and fall apart. The one I got, with the light grey dial, makes for a really interesting look, but it also makes it a little harder at times to read at times ... turning it a little for better light solves that. It's just not a high-contrast dial. The tiny day-date window is also a little hard for me to read, but for people with good close-up vision it will be a snap. Otherwise, it's a solid-feeling piece, not at all light and junky-feeling, and people will probably look twice and give you compliments on your good taste. I like the look of the watch for the most part. It feels like a pretty good quality watch with some weight to it, but the band feels a little on the light side and almost cheap. I am not a fan of how it clasps compared to most other metal band watches I have. I also have had a few occasions whereby bending my wrist too far, it put too much pressure on the release button causing the clasp to open. I do like the fact that it includes the band adjustment tool, so you don’t have to take it somewhere to be adjusted or but one separately. The directions aren’t written the best, but not that difficult to figure out. I don’t know if I feel that it is a good value for the price, we’ll see how it holds up over time. ... show more
