Description

ZWILLING Pro is the most user-friendly knife available to market. The unique blade shape and ergonomic bolster are the result of years of experience in knife making, and the rigorous study of how knives are used. A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The Chef's Knife blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip. Designed in Italy by Matteo Thun and made in Germany by ZWILLING J.A. Wow! I've always bought nice knife sets in the past (intermediate), but, never in the top tier like these knives. Boy, talk about attention to detail. These knives are perfect. What an absolute joy they are to use. Maybe it's crazy for an amateur like me to spend this much on a knife set, but, I'm sure glad I did. The Zwilling Pro 16-pc knife set with block is absolutely amazing! The blades are so sharp it's scary! The only complaint I have is that the chef"s knife handle had been gouged somewhat. I used an emory board and was able to smooth it so it's not uncomfortable to use. The knives are quality and should last a lifetime. ... show more

I recently purchased the ZWILLING Pro - 16-piece knife set with the understanding that I was buying a new product as described in the listing. However, I was disappointed when it arrived, as it appeared to be used rather than new. The condition of the packaging raised concerns - the boxes were improperly packed and the wooden block was broken. Interestingly, the exterior box arrived undamaged, suggesting that the issue wasn't due to the shipping process but existed beforehand. I believe it's important to share this experience, as the product I received wasn't as described and did not meet the quality standards I expected for a new set.     • Best knives we've ever owned
The knife set arrived packaged fairly well. No damage to the contents. The bamboo block is beautiful. But, the prize is the knives themselves. They came razor-sharp. They feel very balanced and fit both mine and my wife's hands very well. With these, I am teaching her the pinch-grip technique. I would recommend this set even at its retail price. ... show more

Hard to tell if these are simply factory seconds (rejects) or imitation Zwillings. The some of the knives are bent and the (Zwillings Laser) sharpening work is messy at best. Bought the 16 piece "Professional" line. Simply amazing. This set is also good for performing surgical procedures in a pinch. You can't go wrong.
