I am so happy I purchased this blender. I like it so much better than the vitamix. It’s quieter, easier to clean, smarter functions, looks better and I just think it’s a far superior product. A lot of the mangrove reviews are exaggerated in my opinion. First of all you’re not supposed to put the pitcher in the dishwasher and the self cleaning function is thirty seconds and works perfectly. The design is better so things don’t get stuck behind the blade as much as with other blenders. The small piece that locks into place in order for it to start is brilliant and not at all flimsy. It’s a locking mechanism just like with a food processor and it’s there for your safety and to prevent explosions. Seriously this blender is awesome!

Simply the best - with updates

Update January 2024: My boyfriend worked on it, and now it will always blend even without the lid on, which is better than not at all. Most important is to note the the design and function are top notch. BUT getting the lid on and off is a real struggle especially for sore or arthritic hands. I believe my prying it up, even carefully, is what broke it. It was on there so tight that I could never just lift it off. I am glad to have it at least blending, again. Original review from 2021: Best. Blender. Ever. Worth every penny and more. Think you want one of those blend-and-go cup things? Forget it. Buy a separate to-go cup and pour. You will be glad you did. Update. Aug. 2023. It's broken. The piece that makes the connection broke off, and now it blends no more. I am deeply disappointed. 😔

More junk for the landfill

Stopped working twice, within a few months , with the same issue. Something would snap and the motor would spin but the blades would not. First time, they replaced it with no questions or costs. Didn't have to return the broken unit. Second time, they wanted me to ship the broken unit back at my own cost. Decided it wasn't worth the time, effort and cost since it would probably fail again. Nice looking unit and very stylish but not worth it.

Super unhappy that it says right there in the description twice that's it's 'stainless steel and glass' It's plastic and there is no glass. Haven't used it yet but that was the main reason I bought this one.

Great Counter Top Blender

Our first observation was a the blade just appeared to be too simple. We were wrong! This thing cuts frozen fruit like butter, and the smoothies are sooo smooth it is unbelievable. The self cleaning feature on most appliances usually doesn't get the job done, but this one is sparkling clean when done. Just don't put more than a drop, or two of liquid soap like the instructions say. Otherwise, you will get more suds than you need. Great product all the way around and looks clean when sitting on the counter.

before I bought this I had kitchen aid blender, and it's a dumb blender. But the Zwilling blender it's more than a blender ! After I used it I always keep it clean and neat I want it to last and is a beautiful piece to have on your counter, and the results are excellent!!!

Waste of money!

've owned this Zwilling blender for less than two years, and unfortunately, it's already broken twice. The core issue lies in a major design flaw involving the lid and handle. The handle has a small hole that’s essential for the lid to lock in place and for the blender to operate. However, the pin inside the lid has broken on me twice, rendering the blender unusable. Additionally, the design allows water and food particles to accumulate inside the handle over time, which is both unhygienic and frustrating. Given these recurring issues, I can’t recommend this blender. It’s disappointing, especially considering the brand and price point.
