I am so happy I purchased this blender. I like it so much better than the vitamix. It’s quieter, easier to clean, smarter functions, looks better and I just think it’s a far superior product. A lot of the mangrove reviews are exaggerated in my opinion. First of all you’re not supposed to put the pitcher in the dishwasher and the self cleaning function is thirty seconds and works perfectly. The design is better so things don’t get stuck behind the blade as much as with other blenders. The small piece that locks into place in order for it to start is brilliant and not at all flimsy. It’s a locking mechanism just like with a food processor and it’s there for your safety and to prevent explosions. Seriously this blender is awesome! ... show more

Update January 2024: My boyfriend worked on it, and now it will always blend even without the lid on, which is better than not at all. Most important is to note the the design and function are top notch. BUT getting the lid on and off is a real struggle especially for sore or arthritic hands. I believe my prying it up, even carefully, is what broke it. It was on there so tight that I could never just lift it off. I am glad to have it at least blending, again. Original review from 2021: Best. Blender. Ever. Worth every penny and more. Think you want one of those blend-and-go cup things? Forget it. Buy a separate to-go cup and pour. Our first observation was a the blade just appeared to be too simple. We were wrong! This thing cuts frozen fruit like butter, and the smoothies are sooo smooth it is unbelievable. The self cleaning feature on most appliances usually doesn't get the job done, but this one is sparkling clean when done. Just don't put more than a drop, or two of liquid soap like the instructions say. Otherwise, you will get more suds than you need. Very powerful blender, however food, water, particles, dust, etc. can and will get stuck inside the handle which is hollow and cannot be removed or cleaned. For this price it is not worth it.

This review is for the Zwilling Enfinigy Power Blender. It comes with a 64 ounce pitcher with a lid as well as the motor base. I have tested this blender by making ice cream shakes and blending up ice and various other things. It works great for the most part. I have only had some small issues with how it works and the design as I will detail below. I will start this off with my one complaint about this blender. The system for ensuring the lid is on before the blender turns on is not good in my opinion. Does it work? Yes it does. The issue is that the system works by using this very small little plastic piece in the lid that connects to a piece in the handle of the pitcher that then pushes something in the base. If you break the plastic piece on the lid, that is very thin, the entire system will stop functioning. The plastic piece has a very good chance of breaking as it is not protected at all. This is the biggest problem with this blender. Other than that it worked great for me. I did have it trip the breaker one time though. I had put some ice cream and milk into the blender to make some ice cream shakes. I turned it to the pulse setting and the motor hummed but nothing happened. Then the breaker popped and I had to reset it. Tried it again and this time the blender worked fine. Not sure what happened but it seemed to be a one time occurrence in my case. Maybe it needed a higher speed setting. It has a cleaning function which is interesting. I'm not sure of the point of it exactly though. The way I have always cleaned my blenders is to put some water and some soap into them and turn them on and then rinse and they are done. The cleaning mode is essentially just this. I guess it is nice to have but I usually just use the pulse mode myself. This blender is fairly large but not ridiculous by any means. You will need a solid amount of counter room for it but the nice thing is it looks beautiful on the counter so you don't feel bad leaving it there. Overall a very good blender but the price does reflect that as well. This is a premium product by a premium company and you can feel that in how well it is made. Except for that lid with the little plastic finger that will 100% break off, that is the one flaw here. ... show more
