I was very disappointed. This did not perform well at all. Not powerful enough, it did not grind seeds up, and there were still chunks in my smoothie after I blended several times. I was concerned I might burn up the motor. Still, it did not make my drink smooth. Sent it back. I am sticking with my Vitamix blender, even if it is a little large for one smoothie. I love this blender. It is so much quieter than my old NutriBullet which was so loud and always leaked. This blender is so easy to use and so easy to clean. Love the fact it has no rubber rings to get lost or creases to wash out to prevent mold. The only thing I will say is the blades aren’t as sharp and efficient as other brands. When i make my protein shakes with just frozen fruits and veggies it is fine. But if I add ice cubes it never completely chops them all up. There are always little chunks of ice. While it was working it was an excellent blender: powerful, easy to use and clean, stylish. But after only 2 years of using it occasionally (maybe 2x week) it stopped working. Very disappointing, especially at this price. Something else for the growing trash heap.

    • it simply died after less than 6 months, customer service is awful

I've only had this blender a few months and it suddenly just stopped running. (Yes, I checked the plug, outlet, etc.). I called Zwilling customer service and was on hold for 25 minutes. The person who answered the phone was nice but in the end didn't help. They said they would email a shipping label and send a new blender. I would rather have a refund, why would I want the same blender that didn't work. Anyway, two weeks later and no email and return label and no replacement blender. As far a the unit itself, I only made smoothies. Even after cutting the fruit into even smaller pieces, it still clogged every time. Had to stop, shake, etc. several times every time i used it.
