    • Uncomfortable! and unbalanced
I thought it was impossible! Hammocks are the epitome of comfort- and mind you, I have had great success with hammocks before- and yet, this hammock is uncomfortable. Not just a little uncomfortable, no. Very uncomfortable. This is due to several factors. One, the hammock is unstable, so if, -heaven forbid- you try to roll over or shift at all, you will most likely tip the balance and be dumped out- onto the floor- in an undignified heap. Two, it lacks the stretch required to make it comfortable, and to prevent the aforementioned falling out. The fabric is not particularly soft either, although this is not really a big issue. I will give it credit, it was fairly easy to assemble( the instructions were not overly helpful). Overall, it looks nice, but it does not work well at all- and it was so displeasing I am going through the effort of returning it. ... show more

This hammock is very comfortable!!! You do not get squished in the middle on entering it like you do on others. The colors are very soothing but still with some interest. The pillow is a nice feature too. It ties on. The hammock was very easy to atttach to the stand. It just took a few adjustments to figure out how high to put it, as with any. I'm giving this 3 stars because for the price, I expected way better quality. I did like that it's made out of a water-proof material so it'll be easy to dry if it gets rained on. That was basically the whole reason for us buying this one, and from the pictures online it seemed like it was comfy and it had some padding. We got it and were excited to try it out right away! As soon as I took it out of the packaging the first thing that caught my eye was a loose thread. Didn't think much of it until we assembled it. As you can see in the pictures, there was loose stitching, STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. Not sure if this is going to affect the whole padding thing. It's also very hard to get in and out of. I'm not gonna return it because I don't want to go through the headache of taking it back down and re-packaging it to return. But the manufacturing quality on this is not great. Wanted to invest in a quality hammock that would last awhile. Although, this was to be a Father's Day Gift, UPS man delivered right into my husbands hands and he has tried it out early. Comes with a storage bag and hardware, however if you are going to hang it from a tree you will need to buy two eye hooks. But if you have a stand, you are all set!
