I bought these for my 12 and 9 year old daughters. They're really easy to open for them. The underside design is cool and the auto button is really helpful. The only downside for us is that it is very hard for kids to close the spring loaded umbrella. However, if you aren't buying for someone smaller this is a great umbrella for the price. ... show more

This umbrella is about 12 inches at folded state. The colors are vivid and galaxy print is striking. It is light, easy to open and close using the button at handle. Size is 38 inches across. I'm not too crazy about the velvet cover, it feels like an afterthought to save cost on the vinyl fabric.
